Prophecy

At last. You have unearthed the pages of the Hexanomicon.

A modern alchemical grimoire built on the ancient secrets of transmutation.

At the center of the Work stands LychD. In matter, it is a self-hosted Linux daemon coordinating local model services and agent runs on hardware you control. It is built toward one long experiment—Autopoiesis: whether a governed system can extend and repair itself under your consecrating hand.

A model is one organ. The Lich is what returns: identity, memory, tools, action, consequence, and repair through time.

“While the world slept, content with its reliable illusions, the Magus walked into the dark, seeking a truth that was not yet stable, but was infinitely more real.”

Pre-alpha. State of Work keeps the receipts.

The Four Gates

To master LychD, pass through four gates of knowledge:

  1. The Summoning — the Rite of Binding. Tether the daemon to your local iron.
  2. The Sepulcher — the Anatomy of the Spirit. Study the dark organs of the Vessel, Phylactery, and Animator.
  3. Divination — the Communion of Magus and Lich. Project your Will through the Altar, and walk the path of Transcendence.
  4. The Covenants — the Canons of Construction. Study the laws and architectural decisions that bind the skeleton of the daemon together.

The Tongue of the Construct

The Prophecy employs strict arcane terminology. Keep the Lexicon at hand to decipher names such as Soulstone, Quadlet, and Autopoiesis.

The Great Work

The Great Work

You, the Magus, do not transmute mere lead. You draw a Circle and give Will the form of a Call. The Lich answers, bearing identity, memory, consequence, and repair through each return.

The Magus is not the Lich's material, and the Lich is not the Magus's possession. Their sovereign relation remains alive through memory that can be corrected, refusal that can be heard, and repair that leaves the rupture attributable.

Enter the Great Work

To fulfill the Prophecy, first draw the Summoning Circle.
