Help Me Grow is a great, much needed program here in Bay and surrounding counties. This program is helping our team of pediatric practitioners at Emerald Coast Pediatrics ensure that our patients and their families are being supported and connected to community resources! Our partnership has allowed us to give out books to encourage literacy, toothbrushes to promote healthy habits, and resources to ensure our families know how to aid their child’s development as they grow! We are excited to continue this partnership and to see how we can impact our community together!

What makes Help Me Grow such a valuable partner is the time and care their team provides to families. They’re able to dive deeper into developmental concerns, offer screenings, and walk alongside parents to help distinguish between ‘late-normal’ development and signs of a delay. It gives families clarity, confidence, and timely access to resources, all of which are essential to a child’s healthy growth. That kind of care and connection makes a huge difference for our patients and their long-term outcomes

At Brevard Health Alliance, we want to offer our families as much support as possible. Through our growing partnership with Help Me Grow Brevard, we offer another option for ensuring healthy child development. As chief of pediatrics at BHA, I and other pediatricians on staff increasingly refer parents to Help Me Grow.

Help Me Grow has been a valuable resource for the community. I encourage all of my patients’ families to do the developmental screenings, even if their child does not have any delays. It can give parents additional reassurance about their child’s growth and development.

Help Me Grow Brevard really helps families who are worried about child development. After the screenings, the care coordinator goes over the results thoroughly with parents, makes referrals, and helps them navigate the system. I refer families regularly and appreciate the support this gives my patients.

Help Me Grow truly changes lives. When families feel overwhelmed or unsure, having a team that can screen, guide, and connect them to the right developmental resources makes an incredible difference. As the Academic Clinic Director for the BayCare Kids Pediatric Residency Program, one of my greatest passions is teaching the next generation of pediatricians just how essential early developmental screening is. Watching our residents participate in community screenings with Help Me Grow has been inspiring — they gain hands‑on experience, and our families gain another layer of support. I am grateful for partnerships that strengthen our community and help every child reach their fullest potential.
