Carries the why, the inventory of what shipped, the two-minute try-it block, what's deliberately not in v0.1.0, and what feedback would help. The landing-page tip and the sidebar "v0.1.0 launch" entry surface it to first-time visitors without forcing a click into Examples or ADRs.
