I work for Development Seed as a software engineer.
Previously, I was an independent software developer. I helped clients work with large images, and also integrate Zarr into their workflows. Before that, I worked on the Cellmap Project Team at Janelia Research Campus. Check out some of the amazing images they produce over at OpenOrganelle.
And before getting into software development I completed a Ph.D. in biology, which involved some big microscopy datasets and gave me formative exposure to chunked array formats and distributed computing.
I also work on community projects, namely zarr.
