It seems that this project is dead, since it's been 10 months now since the last release and 8 months since the last commit. This seems especially problematic because of the open security flaw CVE-2026-7177 which will probably not be fixed.

If the project is indeed dead, I'd kindly ask the maintainers to make this visible by archiving the repo.
