🤖 Is AI making localization project management less important? With tighter deadlines, smaller budgets, and growing pressure to automate, it can sometimes feel that way. But in our latest blog post, Anna Marava argues the opposite: in the age of AI, strong localization project management matters more than ever. Drawing on the experience of Laura Gutiérrez Herráez, a localization PM with over a decade of experience in game localization and audiovisual projects, the post explores why human judgment still plays a critical role in multilingual content workflows. It looks at: ✅ Why source-text analysis should never be skipped ✅ How cultural nuance can directly affect quality, compliance, and market suitability ✅ Why translators need strong context, glossaries, and reference materials to succeed ✅ Where AI can save time in localization workflows, and where it still falls short ✅ Which skills future localization PMs should develop to stay relevant in a changing industry 🎓 Anna Marava is a Localization Specialist with a decade of experience in translation and localization project management. Based in Athens, Greece, she works as a Technical Content Specialist at a leading software company while pursuing the TCLoc Master's at the University of Strasbourg. 📖 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/euXfc_jh #Localization #ProjectManagement #AI #Translation #LocalizationManagement #LanguageIndustry #TCLoc #GlobalContent
