Please add the ability for app designers to apply custom CSS or configurable styling to fields and interface elements in Fulcrum apps. Currently, Fulcrum provides powerful JavaScript/Data Events for controlling field behavior, visibility, validation, hyperlinks, and other functionality, but there is very limited control over the visual appearance of those elements. It would be extremely useful to have either a Custom CSS section at the app level or styling options for individual fields. Examples of useful capabilities would include: Change button and hyperlink background colors Change text and label colors Change font size, weight, and alignment Style section headers Add borders or highlighting to important fields Change styling based on field values or record status Assign CSS classes to individual fields using their Data Name Customize hyperlink/button appearance For example, we currently use Data Events to create a hyperlink button that opens Google Maps directions using latitude and longitude stored in a record. The functionality works very well, but the hyperlink button uses Fulcrum's default gray appearance. Being able to style that button blue would make its purpose much clearer to field crews. Even a limited, supported CSS implementation using field Data Names as selectors would provide app designers significantly more control over the usability and visual organization of field applications. Ideally, custom styling would work in both the Fulcrum mobile apps and web interface while maintaining Fulcrum's standard responsive behavior.
