San Diego Wikimedians User Group has reserved the Gracia Molina de Pick & Richard Allen Pick Centro Cultural at the San Diego Public Library Logan Heights Library. This event will be held during National Volunteer Month. We shall be open to the public and will teach those interested in learning more about Wikipedia. Specifically how to edit/modify/create content on Wikipedia. We will also teach interested individuals how to upload content onto Wikimedia Commons. Moreover, this will provide a forum where individuals from the public may ask any questions in person about the various open knowledge projects that are operated by the Wikimedia Foundation.
The San Diego Public Library neither endorses nor sponsors this event.

Getting there
[edit]San Diego Public Library Logan Heights Library is located in the Logan Heights neighborhood, east of Downtown San Diego and north of Naval Base San Diego. There is very limited public parking on the premises on South 28th Street, with additional parking available at Memorial Community Park (to the east of the library). Using public transit, the library is half a mile walk from the San Diego Trolley Harborside station. Alternatively take San Diego Metropolitan Transit System Bus Route 12 towards Skyline Hills from the 12th & Imperial Transit Center, getting off at the National Avenue & 29th Street bus stop, and walk the rest of the way.

- Thanks for the invite. Would like to come sometime, but have a conflict on most Saturdays (my wife and I run a music non-profit for youth and that's when we meet for rehearsals.) Bobsd (talk · contribs)
