@Schlurcher: Thank you for creating a bot to update links. Would you be able to add a paragraph about what it does to its user page? I'm specifically curious if this bot has the smarts to check links before changing the URL from HTTP to HTTPS. Since Wikipedia and other sites made the switch, there is a bit of a myth that all URLs need to be changed to HTTPS. However, not all servers support HTTPS.
