They Will Kill You is an upcoming American action comedy horror film directed by Kirill Sokolov, from a script written by him and Alex Litvak. The film stars Zazie Beetz as a woman named Asia Reaves who answers a help wanted ad to be a housekeeper in a mysterious New York City high rise, not realizing she is entering a community that has seen a number of disappearances over the years. It also stars Myha'la, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette in supporting roles.

They Will Kill You is scheduled to be released theatrically on March 27, 2026, by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Premise

A woman answers a help-wanted ad to be a housekeeper in a mysterious New York City high-rise, not realizing she is entering a community that has seen a number of disappearances over the years.

Production

In June 2024, it was announced that Zazie Beetz would lead They Will Kill You, an original film that would be the first under Andy and Barbara Muschietti's new production company, Nocturna.^[2] In July, New Line Cinema picked up the rights.^[3] In August, Myha'la, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette joined the cast.^[4]^[5]^[6] Paterson Joseph also features in the cast.^[7]

The film was shot in Cape Town at the end of 2024, finishing in December of that year.^[8]^[9]^[10]

Release

They Will Kill You is set to premiere at the SXSW on March 17, 2026, and is also scheduled to be released on March 27, 2026, by Warner Bros. Pictures.^[11]^[12]
