Riverside Health is a nonprofit healthcare system based in Newport News, Virginia. Founded in 1915, it operates hospitals, specialty care facilities, outpatient practices, home health and hospice services, and educational programs in Eastern Virginia.[3]

According to organizational materials, Riverside Health operates four acute care hospitals and four specialty hospitals in Virginia. Its affiliated Riverside Medical Group includes more than 100 practice locations providing primary and specialty care. The system reports use of electronic medical records across its facilities.[4]

The organization also operates Riverside College of Health Careers and sponsors graduate medical education programs.[5]
