Important:

  • Effective September 15, 2026, PostgreSQL v1 functionality will be fully deactivated in both the DCD and API. Use PostgreSQL v2 to create and manage clusters using the DCD or the API.

  • Cluster creation using PostgreSQL v1 API is deprecated since July 15, 2026. In the DCD, only limited operations are supported on legacy (existing v1) clusters.

  • Existing PostgreSQL v1 clusters will be automatically migrated to the new PostgreSQL v2 infrastructure starting July 29, 2026. No user action is required and we will notify you before the migration. If you prefer to migrate earlier, see Manual migration.

How-to guides for managing PostgreSQL clusters using the v2 API. Recommended for all new clusters.

PostgreSQL v1

How-to guides for existing PostgreSQL v1 clusters. Cluster creation is no longer supported in v1.
