Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DiscountCode.AI collects when you use our website, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We've tried to keep it plain and honest — we collect very little, and we don't track you across the web.

1. Who We Are

DiscountCode.AI is a trading name of Inventive Ventures LLC, a company registered in Marshall Islands (company number 964303), with its registered office at Ajeltake Road, Majuro, Marshall Islands, MH96960.

DiscountCode.AI is a free voucher code and discount aggregation website at https://discountcode.ai. For any privacy questions you can reach us at [email protected], or for general enquiries [email protected].

For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Inventive Ventures LLC is the data controller for the limited personal data described below.

2. What Data We Collect

We do not ask you to create an account. The data that reaches us is:

  • Standard request data via Cloudflare — like your IP address and browser user-agent string. Cloudflare provides our DNS and content delivery and passes these standard headers as part of serving and protecting the site.
  • Privacy-first analytics via Plausible — we use Plausible Analytics to understand which pages are popular. Plausible is cookieless, collects no personal data, does not track you across sites, and is GDPR-compliant by design. It only produces anonymous, aggregate statistics.
  • Email address (only if you provide it) — collected when you ask to be notified of your verification results, or subscribe to alerts for new working codes at a specific store. We use it only to send the specific notifications you requested. We do not share your email with third parties, and we do not use it for general marketing. Emails are delivered through Resend, a transactional email service.

We do not require registration or an account. The only personal data we collect beyond standard request data is your email address, and only if you choose to provide it. We do not collect names, payment details or any other personal information, because the site doesn't ask for them.

3. Cookies

We use essential cookies only:

  • Laravel session cookie and a CSRF token — needed for the site to function securely.
  • Cloudflare __cf_bm — a bot-management cookie Cloudflare may set to tell humans from automated traffic.

That's it. Plausible does not use cookies. We set no marketing cookies, no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics cookies.

4. Affiliate Links

When you click a discount code or deal, you are redirected to the retailer through an affiliate tracking link. Third-party affiliate networks (not us) may set their own cookies on the retailer's domain to attribute the visit. We do not control those cookies and they are governed by the relevant network's and retailer's own privacy policies. See our Terms & Conditions for our affiliate disclosure.

5. No Accounts, No Registration

DiscountCode.AI has no user accounts and no registration, so there is no profile for us to hold. You can optionally give us your email address for two things, both opt-in:

  • Verification results — we email you once when the codes you asked us to test have finished running.
  • Store code alerts — we email you when new working codes are found for a store you've subscribed to.

You can unsubscribe from store alerts at any time using the link in every alert email. When you unsubscribe, we delete your email from our alert subscribers list.

6. Data Retention

  • Server logs (which may contain IP addresses) are rotated and deleted after 30 days.
  • Plausible Analytics retains only anonymous, aggregate data — there is no personal data to retain.
  • Email addresses provided for verification results are not retained after delivery. Store alert subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe, at which point your email is deleted.

7. Third-Party Services

  • Plausible Analytics — EU-hosted, cookieless analytics with no personal data.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, CDN and security, processing standard request data to serve and protect the site.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery service, used to send verification results and store code alerts. Their privacy policy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Affiliate networks — used to track click-throughs to retailers so we can earn commission (see section 4).

8. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Even though we hold very little personal data, you have the right to:

  • Access — ask what data we hold about you;
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data;
  • Portability — ask for a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • Objection — object to our processing.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.

9. Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so do contact us before you do.

10. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, contains no age-gated content, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version always lives on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.

12. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of Marshall Islands, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
