Ingmar Krusch hat dies repostetIngmar Krusch hat dies repostet35 people. 8 business problems. 2 days. Yesterday, they built. Today, they pitched. Watching our very first DACH AI & Automation Hackathon wrap this morning and I'm still processing what I saw in the room. The problems weren't invented for the occasion. Twenty real challenges had been submitted by people across the organisation, the kind of friction that slows us down and hurts the customer experience every week. Eight got selected. Then 35 colleagues from totally different parts of the business came together, supported by mentors from Tech, AI, Product and Operations, and spent a full day building something they could actually stand up and demo. What struck me most was watching people step into something unfamiliar and just figure it out. Realising they're more capable than they thought when given the right support and space to go for it. That's what getting future-ready looks like, and what AI becoming our default looks like in practice. All solutions are now being assessed for pilot potential. The building doesn't stop here. Huge thank you to everyone who submitted, joined a team, mentored, and shipped something real. Also to the team behind the scenes, and to Ingmar Krusch and Johannes Stiefel for joining me on the jury.

Ingmar Krusch hat dies repostetIngmar Krusch hat dies repostetAt HelloFresh the AI-native future is our new default. This week marked a major milestone in accelerating that momentum: our first-ever DACH AI & Automation Hackathon! We hosted this event to accelerate AI adoption across every business unit, dismantle the silos that slow us down, and connect teams in a fun and engaging atmosphere. We brought together colleagues from every domain, with attendees working in 11 cross-functional teams to tackle real, complex business problems. The goal wasn’t to engineer a clever prompt, but to build something substantial, scalable, and reusable. Some of the GenAI solutions developed by our colleagues included a tool to assess customer feedback on recipes and menus faster, a process to automate pallet status in our warehouse and a way to improve the quality of our recipe cards. All solutions were evaluated against tangible business impact and pilot-readiness, so we can immediately start to implement the creative vision of our colleagues. Do you want to join us as we push the boundaries of what's possible in tech and food? We have many open positions in Berlin and all over the world! Ingmar Krusch gefällt dasIngmar Krusch gefällt dasAs I wrap up my time at HelloFresh, I am blown away with the impact this opportunity has allowed me to have. Over the past 10 weeks, I got to build AI tools and internal dashboards that real people at the company use. This experience is a different kind of learning than anything a classroom gives you. You figure out fast what matters and what doesn't when something you built is in front of someone trying to do their job. A few things I'm taking with me: 1) How to move fast without breaking trust 2) That the best tools solve a real problem, not a hypothetical one 3) That AI is most powerful when it's invisible and just makes someone's day easier Grateful for Brian Leung and Jenna Kirschner for teaching me the ropes, hopefully I have passed executive communication 101. Keep your eyes Peeled for what's next. 🙌 👀 #HelloFresh #Internship #AI #ProductDesign

Ingmar Krusch gefällt dasIngmar Krusch gefällt dasThis week I got a reminder of why I feel a passion to go to work day to day. The release of HelloFresh Unboxed, our first cookbook, crystallizes what it’s all about for me: 1. It’s about food cooked at home and the magic that can bring to a household. The inspiring yet within-reach recipes are a practical addition to your kitchen. 2. It’s about people in the kitchen cooking, eating, and making special moments together. Our team, families, and suppliers are featured throughout, reminding us that as much as it’s about delicious food, it’s about the people it brings together. 3. It’s about giving back and democratizing the joy and dignity that comes from home cooking. All proceeds from cookbook sales go to our Meals with Meaning program, which provides fresh, free meal kits to households in need. Congratulations to authors Kristin Bryan and Michelle Doll-Olson, as well as the whole team that contributed to this book! I’m proud to work alongside such a talented, thoughtful team and to positively impact so many dinners every day.

The model's weights file is 1.56TB. kimi-k3-in-c runs that 2.78T parameter model on an 8GB laptop, streaming each needed slice off disk since which slice changes every token. More RAM only shortens the wait, not the model: 26.5s per token at 8GB, 5.6s at 128GB+, same output. Frontier-scale models no longer need frontier hardware to inspect, just patience. 8.2k stars, Apache-2.0. #AIInfra #LLM #OpenSource #CPUInference #Efficiency

Ingmar Krusch gefällt dasIngmar Krusch gefällt dasWhen talking about Agentic Engineering, I keep hearing "shift left." Specs first, tests first, guardrails before the agent writes a single line. Fair. But I think we're missing the other half. If writing code is becoming a commodity, building is no longer the expensive part. Knowing whether what we built actually matters to anyone is. And you won't find that out on your laptop. So maybe Agentic Engineering doesn't just let us shift left. It lets us also shift right, especially for ideas! Ship the hypothesis to a few percent of users. Measure business, cost and technical signals together. Feed the results back into the loop. Roll back or iterate. It extends the loop from "does the code work?" to "does it create value?" That's what Sebastian and I discussed with Olaf Molenveld from CircleCI in the current episode of Beyond Vibe Coding by HMZE × Impala Search. In Olaf's words: You cannot predict everything in advance. You need to get it into people's hands with the right amount of quality, and get the data back as fast as possible. Thanks for the great discussion Olaf! Links to the full episode in the comments. 👇

Ingmar Krusch gefällt dasIngmar Krusch gefällt dasThere is a lot of talk about decision models like Jev lately. I created RuVector almost a year ago to solve this problem and a lot more. Here's my comparison. RuVector turns ordinary text into ultra fast structured decisions your software can use immediately. It can route a support request, score urgency, flag fraud, classify feedback, select an agent, or decide when a human should review something. In our benchmark, Jev achieved 85.3% accuracy while RuVector achieved 83.3%. That is a difference of only three decisions across 150 test cases. The practical difference is speed and control. Jev recorded a p95 response time of 231 milliseconds over the network. RuVector made the same kind of decision locally in about 10 milliseconds, roughly 23 times faster. Its quantized mode reached 4.1 milliseconds. RuVector also has no provider fee for each decision. It runs on infrastructure you control, so costs become predictable compute and operations rather than another metered API. Getting started is simple and free, run it in Claude or ChatGPT: npm install @ruvector/typesafe npx typesafe decide Use decide for individual classifications. Add labelled examples and use train to specialize the model for your business. Use eval to measure accuracy and calibration against held out examples. Use optimize to test improvements. Use serve to expose the Jev compatible /v1/systemone endpoint for existing applications. The TypeScript API keeps answer types aligned with the options defined in your code. RuVector also supports calibrated confidence and abstention, allowing it to request human review instead of confidently guessing. Jev is a convenient hosted decision API. RuVector is a fast, private, trainable decision platform that you can own, inspect, improve, and deploy anywhere. Ingmar Krusch gefällt dasIngmar Krusch gefällt dasA little overdue, but it feels like the right time to make it LinkedIn official🌿 Three weeks ago, I joined HelloFresh as Senior Equity & Incentives Analyst, continuing my journey in the world of equity and incentive compensation. Almost three years ago, I joined Delivery Hero - a chapter that would go on to play a pivotal part in both my professional journey and my life. During that time, I had the privilege of working with and learning from world-class experts in their fields, collaborating with colleagues across countries and functions, and navigating the complexity of truly global equity programmes. Most importantly, I met some genuinely wonderful people along the way. To everyone who was part of that chapter - thank you for the trust, the lessons, the support, the laughs and everything in between. I’m leaving with a great deal of knowledge and plenty of memories I’ll look back on fondly. 💛 Now, I’m very happy to be starting this next chapter at HelloFresh. I’m particularly excited to be joining at such an interesting time for the team - as it grows, evolves and builds new things, with plenty already in motion and even more ahead. Looking forward to contributing to what we’re building and seeing where this next chapter takes me💚

Ingmar Krusch gefällt dasIngmar Krusch gefällt dasLast quiet days before before something new... Homework: Annette Dittert’s ‘Dear Britain’, a German correspondent explaining the British to Germans. Seemed fitting, since from next week I'll be the German on a team with colleagues from the UK and beyond, in London. I've already been warned that "quite good" doesn't mean quite good. That will matter in product. Half the job is working out what people actually mean, whether it's a customer or someone on my own team. Get it wrong and you build the wrong thing with full conviction. What I'm really looking forward to is the mix of people. I suspect the humour will take me longer to decode than the language. Any reading tips for the weekly Berlin to London commute? #London #moretocome

🔦𝗔𝘇𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗸 𝗝𝗮𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗸𝗶 Building enduring B2B software companies takes more than ambition. It takes leaders who understand the levers of scale, the importance of operational rigor, and the value of aligning teams around a clear direction. The Azlin Software Collective brings together leaders who have done just that. And this month, we are highlighting Dominik Jaworski. Dom brings experience driving operational scale across software companies of many sizes from early growth through to more than $100M in ARR. He also founded a software venture earlier in his career that gave him a hands-on understanding of what it takes to build from the ground up. Throughout his journey he has seen what it takes to turn strategy into execution and to lead with clarity and empathy. Key takeaways from our conversation: 💡𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝟮𝗕 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝘀 “You always need a plan, but not because you are going to follow it step by step. Without a plan, you end up busy but directionless; with too rigid a plan, you can hit goals that no longer matter.” 📈 𝗔 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 “There’s often a lot of focus on identifying problems and crafting high-level solutions, but the real challenge lies in translating those into coordinated, cross-functional delivery. The “how” often feels less exciting, yet it’s what ultimately determines whether the business can scale sustainably.” 🌱 𝗔 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 “As a leader, empathy and communication are equally critical. You have to understand what other people understand to meet them where they are, not where you are.” 🌟 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝟮𝗕 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 “The real breakthrough will come when businesses can orchestrate all of their AI enabled tools so they work together when the enterprise itself becomes intelligent, not just its individual parts.” At Azlin Software, we know building a software company can feel lonely. Our Collective connects teams and experienced executives to help companies grow with purpose, clarity, and long-term impact.

Hiring more engineers doesn’t always fix growth problems. When software teams scale quickly, hiring the wrong way can slow delivery rather than improve it. At kommit, we: ✔ Support tech strategy, not just headcount ✔ Build teams that deliver results—not just senior individuals ✔ Guarantee role coverage—no turnover costs ✔ Assign proven leaders to high-volume teams to improve delivery

When product development slows down, hiring more engineers often feels like the obvious solution. But team size is rarely the only issue. Before expanding the team, look for these delivery bottlenecks: > Requirements change after development has already started > Engineers wait too long for product or business decisions > Technical debt turns every “small change” into a larger task > Ownership is fragmented across several people or vendors > Releases depend on manual processes and last-minute fixes > The team is busy, but business-critical features are still delayed Adding developers to an unclear delivery process can increase communication overhead without improving speed. 💡 A better starting point is to identify: • where work gets blocked; • which decisions take the longest; • what repeatedly causes rework; • whether the current architecture supports the product roadmap; • which capabilities are actually missing from the team. Only then can you decide whether you need additional engineers, stronger technical leadership, architectural improvements or a more focused delivery process. So which bottleneck creates the most delays in your product development today?

Backlog refinement improves execution readiness. It also systematically removes decision context. Why this solution was chosen? Which alternatives were rejected? Which risks were consciously accepted? Those details rarely survive story decomposition. When requirements change, Product Managers and Engineers reconstruct intent from tickets—often incorrectly. High-maturity teams compress work without erasing reasoning. Pivota ensures speed today doesn’t become friction tomorrow. #ProductManagement #EngineeringLeadership #DecisionMaking #ProductStrategy #TechLeadership #SoftwareDevelopment

We're back with more context on the context crisis. This time, we're talking developer productivity. New engineers can spend weeks building context that senior engineers already have. Meanwhile, those same senior engineers lose 20-30% of their time answering foundational questions instead of solving complex problems. Our latest guide shows how AI-powered workflows can collapse onboarding time from weeks to days, without creating more work for your experts. It includes specific tactics like semantic code search, guided debugging paths, and automated knowledge capture that evolves with your system. 7 strategies for faster developer ramp-up: https://lnkd.in/giAyZVGb

Scaling doesn’t break because of traffic. It breaks because of unmanaged complexity. When systems grow as one, every change gets harder. Every release gets riskier. Every failure gets louder. Real scaling happens when complexity is split into smaller, independent parts so teams move faster and systems grow safely. That’s where sustainable growth starts. 👉 Swipe through to see the full picture. #Microservices #Scalability #SystemDesign #SoftwareArchitecture #CloudComputing

One thing that helped me while preparing for Q&A technical and leadership interviews was using ChatGPT as a sparring partner. I’d often start by asking for a good answer to a question… and then immediately ask: “Now show me a great answer. What makes it great?” Seeing the difference was incredibly useful. The “good” answers were usually clear and competent. The “great” ones had sharper thinking, clearer trade-offs, stronger ownership, and more concrete impact. I’d also paste my own stories and ask it to pressure test them: • Where is this hand-wavy? • What follow-up would expose a weak spot? • What counterargument might an interviewer raise? Follow up questions and critique from ChatGPT really helped refine my answers and approach. Finally I recommend doing as many mock interviews with ChatGPT voice mode. I eventually maxed out the limits on my Plus subscription, multiple times. But actually talking to an agent helped solidify some of my thoughts.
