Felix Eichler hat dies geteiltShow > Tell 🤓Felix Eichler hat dies geteiltTeam Member Spotlight: Felix! Overdue to give a huge shoutout to Felix, one of our earliest team members - and an incredible driving force behind our product development and engineering efforts. Prior to joining our team, Felix co-founded Userlane - a market-leading digital adoption platform that supercharges digital transformations in companies like AUDI AG, PwC, or Celonis. Based a few hours ahead of our team in Munich, Felix has become known as our overnight feature express - unstoppable at building amazing functionality at record speed. Who wouldn’t appreciate waking up to messages like this? “Good morning to SF! 🌆 … the overnight feature express has arrived: Loom recording. Github link. chooo choo until later this week 🚂💨💨” Besides an infectious use of emojis and code comments that are always helpful and sometimes hilarious, I credit Felix with establishing so many of our most impactful habits as a team: ▶️ Show don’t tell - lots of demos while working on a new functionality, whether in team meetings or async over Loom ▶️ Beware of scope creep - for every change in scope, decide whether to add to the existing ticket vs create a separate issue ▶️ Don’t ignore DevEx - prioritize customer impact over ‘building cool things’, yet allocate some resources to make sure we can continue to ship fast Last but not least, Felix also gives us the (occasional) welcome excuse to visit Munich 🥨🍻 -- Excited about joining an exceptional engineering team that ships every day? Let's have a chat! 😊

Felix Eichler hat dies geteiltThe 21st century is 25% completed. With the start of the year 2025, we are closer to 2040 than 2010! ⏰🏃♂️ For a time geek like me, this didn’t come as a surprise - time is always running mercilessly. But my vacations out in the beautiful snowy mountains have given me and my wife some time to reflect about the past, present, and future at this special new year. There would be numerous reasons to be terrified about the years to come, with still ongoing wars in Europe, distorting news from politics in the US, and German elections coming up in February in a phase of seemingly ever more harsh debates in politics and on social media. But I’m not. I think we’ll have this. I’m hoping for a renewal of the European vision, the most powerful democracies together acting as one. I’m excited about the progress that was made with renewable energy, which already generate more than half of Germany’s electricity. The startups that I’m working with are on the forefront of the renewal of many of our industries and societies. That’s why I’m sure we’re building towards a future we’ll want to live in. We shape the future by building it! 😊 This book “Explosive Modernity” by Eva Illouz has helped me to understand how we’ve come here. How the individual feelings explained by psychology emerge to the common patterns of current politics and social discourse we’re currently observing. Worth a read.

Felix Eichler hat dies geteiltWhat an exciting distraction from the usual business books! A science fiction novel about climate change, or rather about how we might reverse it with Geo-Engineering. It‘s interesting to me because these are scenarios for how the future might look like. We have unwittingly already started it: rerouting of rivers and construction of enormous dams, agriculture on more than a third of earth’s soil, the breeding of many plants and animals, and so much more - we’re truly living in the Anthropocene. May the global climate be the next natural phenomenon we take control of? It became touchingly real when I also read the announcement that the US Government is actually looking into this now: (https://lnkd.in/e6Wv54gr 🇩🇪). Celsius by Marc Elsberg is not just science fiction but also tragic comedy, highlighting just how stuck we are in the status quo of massive reliance on fossil fuels, and in how many facets even hardcore sustainability enthusiasts would be struggling to avoid them entirely. If you don’t mind a little bit of sarcasm & dystopia, I can recommend this book for a summer read.

To put it in her own words, she’ll be “making sure the only ones at the party are the ones on the guest list.” Speaking with Marina, she told us that one of the main things that drew her to Scilife was the industry. She knows that security is not a side topic in this space, and is excited to be a part of Scilife’s next chapter, building the security and trust to accompany it. As well as being a cybersecurity wizz, she’s also a fan of motorbikes, a good hike and travelling (when her twins allow for it of course). Felix Eichler hat darauf reagiertFelix Eichler hat darauf reagiertToday we're announcing our $6.2M Seed, led by Storm Ventures. David Somers, former Chief Product Officer at Workday, is joining our board. Here is why we're building Minoa. Every company measures revenue, growth and usage. Almost none can measure whether the customer got the value they paid for. "They're using it, so they must be getting value" is still the default answer. For twenty years that was fine. Then AI made features cheap to build and cheaper to copy. Buyers can now see for themselves whether you delivered, as pricing is moving from seats to outcomes. When the product is a commodity and the proof is in the open, the only thing left to compete on is the value you actually create. That needs infrastructure. A system of record for what a company is worth to every customer: the business case a seller sells on, the proof at renewal, and the data executives use to run the business, all from the same source. That is what Minoa is becoming: the agentic value intelligence platform, where people and AI agents work from the same value data, in the product or through MCP in Claude, ChatGPT and the tools teams already use. Some of the best GTM organizations - like Snowflake, Cognite, Vanta, Ironclad - are running on top of the value intelligence layer. Thank you to our customers. You trusted the team, the build into the future, and the belief in a great partnership. Thank you to the Minoa team. We say it all the time - this is hard, and the team makes it look easy. Thank you to our investors. To Storm Ventures and David Somers for leading, and to Mintaka VC, AirAngels, 468 Capital, the The GTM Operators Network and our angels for building with us. Back to work :)

We love! #efix #efixelle #Zaída #ModeMitLeidenschaft #Ordertage

Felix Eichler hat darauf reagiertFelix Eichler hat darauf reagiertAike Hillbrands made me rethink what "context engineering" actually means in practice. We tried the obvious thing first on our own internal tooling, hook up an MCP server, and let the agent search for context. Aike's team tried the same thing at Kombo, building their "company brain." And here's the catch he described: the agent would call the MCP search tool, find three tickets and maybe one call transcript, and decide it was done. Conclusion time. Not because it lacked more context, but because MCP search made it too easy to stop looking. Switch to a flat file repo and a grep command instead, and the same agent finds 200 relevant files and actually reads fifty of them. That one detail rewired how I think about the whole "context engineering" conversation everyone's having right now. It's not about giving a model more context. It's about making it structurally hard for the model to give up early. What stuck with me: Kombo runs its "company brain" support tickets, call transcripts, code, and customer history through a public Slack channel, not DMs or a private UI. Aike's reasoning: when other people can see what's being asked, that visibility alone cuts down on how much a prompt-injection attempt can get away with. Nobody's watching a black box. Everybody's watching a group chat. We also got into Simon Willison's "lethal trifecta," the point where private data, untrusted input, and external write access collide, and why Aike thinks the honest answer right now is "we can't get the risk to zero, only small enough that it's not worth exploiting." That's a harder thing for an engineer to sit with than "we solved it." 🎙️ Episode #143: https://lnkd.in/dAe4FUwP

Felix Eichler hat darauf reagiertFelix Eichler hat darauf reagiertA whole industry has been waiting for its leap forward. Today, we're taking tax & accounting into the AI era. We're launching Skalar MCP! 💥💥💥 For the first time, you can talk to your tax firm through your AI. Until today, the standard has been PDFs as reporting, manually hunting down hundreds of documents to close the books and long waits for simple answers. I don't think it has to work that way. Imagine an advisor who knows every number, every document, and every conversation you've ever had. One that answers instantly, and quietly handles the tedious work before you even ask. Today, we're making that real. From now on, Skalar customers can: 🧠 Connect to Skalar through an AI of their choice (Claude, ChatGPT, ...) 💬 Ask anything and get an answer in seconds including analysis, graphs, and forecasts ⚙️ Automate the tedious work like filing documents, running routines in the background, closing the books ✨ Let Skalar do the work no one ever had the time to request We're still a tax advisory firm, with best-in-class tax advisors and experts making sure every customer gets top-notch service. But we're also a technology company, building our tech stack from the ground up. Both combined lets us set a new standard for what tax advisory can be. Today is one milestone of many. We're just getting started. 🚀

What breaks first when AI becomes your default engineer? That's just one of the nine questions CTOs are bringing to Hamburg next Tuesday. May 5, 16:00 — Topic Tables at Henssler before the alphalist CTO Dinner. Nine tables, nine captains, structured peer-to-peer exchange. No keynotes. No slides. Just CTOs working through the questions everyone's actually wrestling with right now. The lineup: → Organisation transformation with agentic AI (Claude Cowork + MCP + agents) — @Julian Eckerle (Vercel) & @Alex Ischenko → No moat, no barriers to entry: the new playbook for software businesses — @Dennis Proppe → Dynamics & impact of the AI-assisted SDLC across small, mid, and large orgs — @Andreas Westendörpf → Agentic AI in reality: from hype to a functioning operating model — @Philipp Deutscher → Tech AI-preneurship: launch & scale as a team of one — @Tim Niemeier → What breaks first when AI becomes your default engineer? — @Daniel Gebler (Picnic) → Fintech in the agentic age — @Nis Carstensen → AI & Bootstrapping — @Aykut Çevik → Ethics, cyber and resilience 2 hours of conversation before anyone touches a sushi roll. 👉 Jetzt das komplette Interview lesen: https://lnkd.in/ddgsniHE (Die Interviewreihe "AFF - The Question" is sponsored by Skene)

Actions speak louder than words do. There have been too many unfulfilled, vague "AI promises" in the last couple of years. At Sana, AI is not something we just promise, it's what we build and give into the hands of your users so they can experience it. The product team at Sana lives and breathes this mindset and I've never worked anywhere that ships like this. Three agents live across every customer. 3.4 million learner questions answered. 1.29 million editing hours saved. 900 admin tasks run every single day. The AI World Organisation

VoiceLine just proved that the future of enterprise AI isn't sitting at a desk it's riding shotgun in a field rep's car. The Munich-based startup has raised €10M in Series A funding, led by Alstin Capital, with co-investment from Peak, and continued backing from SCALEHOUSE Capital and Venture Stars and the numbers tell you exactly why investors took notice. Founded by Dr. Nicolas Höflinger 🖖 (ex-McKinsey) and Sebastian Pinkas 🖖 (first employee at Personio), VoiceLine is solving one of enterprise's most ignored problems field sales reps drowning in admin. Their reps spend 70% of their time on paperwork instead of selling. VoiceLine flips that entirely. Speak after a client meeting. AI handles the CRM, the report, the follow-ups. Done. Dr. Andreas Schenk, Partner at Alstin Capital, called it "a productivity lever and a new data foundation for strategic decision-making" and with 82% less admin time, a 400% increase in structured data, and a 95%+ pilot win rate across clients like ABB, DACHSER, and Knauf, it's hard to argue otherwise. Tea Elezi from Peak summed it up perfectly VoiceLine has become "an operating layer for frontline work." That's not a tool. That's infrastructure. At The AI World Organization, we track exactly these kinds of pivotal shifts where AI stops being a feature and starts becoming the foundation of how industries operate. This is one of those moments. 🔗 Read our full coverage here: https://lnkd.in/gC3JqSHz 📍 And if you want to be in the room where these conversations happen in person we're bringing the world's top AI leaders together at the AI World Summit, Singapore 2026. The hardest part of building Gleap wasn't the product. It was staying focused when everything felt like an opportunity. When you're building an AI platform for software companies, there are infinite directions you could go. Every customer request, every trend, every competitor move looks like a signal. Most of it is noise. The thing that's saved us, repeatedly, is having a clear honest answer to one question: does this move us closer to the vision, or is it just interesting? Interesting is dangerous. Interesting fills your roadmap with things nobody actually needs. Vision-aligned is harder to say yes to in the moment, but it's the only way to build something coherent over time. What's your filter for deciding what to work on vs what to ignore?

We're a German AI company competing against Intercom, Zendesk, Salesforce. Honestly, on paper we probably shouldn't be winning. They have the brand and the budget. But we do win. And lately I've been thinking about why. Part of it is product. Part of it is our amazing team. But there's something else that's become impossible to ignore in the last year. European enterprises are getting serious about who actually controls their data and their AI. Not in a box-ticking way. In a "we need to be able to answer this question to our board" way. And I think AI makes this more urgent than any technology before it. With a database, you store data somewhere. With AI, you train on it, you learn from it, you make decisions with it. The question of who controls your AI is really the question of who controls your institutional knowledge, your customer relationships, your competitive edge. GDPR was about protecting data. AI sovereignty is about something deeper – who learns from your data, who owns the intelligence it creates, and who ultimately controls the decisions your business makes. That's not a compliance question. That's a strategic one. When that question comes up, we have an answer no American vendor can give. We're not just compliant with European standards. Lime Connect (formerly Userlike) is German-built from the ground up. That's not a feature we added. It's just what we are. I used to think that was a nice differentiator. I'm starting to think it's a genuine opening for European software companies to lead, not follow, in the AI era.

I was shocked. #Munich’s municipal election is a perfect example of how digitization in Germany is broken. 🗳️ Think about doing this manually: - 1 vote for mayor (Oberbürgermeister) - 19 votes for our district council (Bezirksausschuss) - 80 votes for the city council (Stadtrat) You can distribute them across parties. You can give multiple votes to one candidate. Democracy-wise, that’s powerful. User-experience-wise, it’s a nightmare. It’s complex, hard to understand, and requires real effort just to cast a valid vote. And in 2026, we still rely heavily on paper, static explanations, and citizens “figuring it out.” If this is one of the most important civic interactions we have - why isn’t it radically simpler? More intuitive? Better guided digitally? Democracy deserves better UX.
