We recently brought all our people managers together for some leadership training! 🚀 Our external trainer, Jin, walked us through plenty of everyday tools: from managing pressure and setting expectations to leading teams in an AI-driven world. 🤖💡 The role-plays and exercises gave everyone a welcome chance to step away from daily desk work, test out real scenarios, and swap notes with each other. 💬 A big thank you to Jin for guiding the sessions, and to all our managers for getting involved and sharing their perspectives! 🙌

👋 We recently stepped out of the office for a great afternoon outdoors! ☀️🌳 We spent the time building soapboxes from scratch in teams. After the main construction was finished, we were able to get creative and personalise our rides. 🏎️🎨 We also picked our drivers and designed their racing suits! 🧑🚀👕 Once the creative part was done, we all presented our soapboxes to the group. While that was happening, one member from every team got together to design the track for the main event. 🏁 Then, it was time to race! Everyone had a lot of fun, and it was a really nice way to catch up and spend some time together away from our desks. We are already looking forward to our next team day out! 🏆🙌 A special thanks to @weingut_weidenmuehle for having us, and a big thank you to @teamgeist_gmbh for guiding the activity and moderating the day.

👋 We recently held our bi-annual company meeting, and it was a great chance to get everyone together again! 🏢✨ We spent some time looking back at what we've achieved over the last six months and had a good discussion about our main goals for the rest of the year. 📈🎯 It is always helpful to make sure we are all on the same page and moving in the same direction. 🤝 Of course, we also took a moment to recognise the colleagues who have really put in that extra bit of hard work lately. 🏆👏 A big thank you to them for their continued effort. It’s always nice to catch up, share some fresh ideas and see what we can get done as a team. We are looking forward to the next few months! 🚀🔵🟡

We had our Internet Marketing team event on the Rhine! ⛵ Between sailing, snacks, and World Cup and pop-culture trivia, we discovered hidden talents, fun facts, and everyone's favourite music along the way. We wrapped up the event by writing appreciation cards for every team member - taking some time to celebrate and share what we value most about each other. We had a brilliant time at our latest team event! ☀️👋 Our Customer Support, Sales and Office Management teams got together on the rooftop terrace for a barbecue 🍔🔥. To top it off, we also baked a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies 🍪. It was a great chance to catch up, chat and enjoy some good food outside of our usual daily routines. Last week, we levelled up! 🌍 At a global company like Yalwa, understanding each other is more than just a skill - it’s our greatest strength. Our team recently took part in a half-day deep dive into intercultural competence and business etiquette. 🤝✨ During the session, we explored the nuances of German business manners, the art of seamless small talk and modern etiquette for both face-to-face and digital formats. One of our favourite moments? The "Cultural Artefact" session. We each brought an object symbolising our heritage and traditions, which sparked wonderful conversations about the diverse backgrounds that shape our team. A shared lunch was also an integral part of the day, allowing us to put our new knowledge of business etiquette and table manners into practice in a relaxed atmosphere. It turns out the best way to switch off after work is by trying something new with the team. 🎨🍣 We spent some time away from our screens this week for our latest team events! 🙌 Our HR team headed to a reformer pilates class for a good stretch 🤸, followed by some sushi for dinner. Over in Finance, we spent the afternoon at a acrylic painting course 👨🎨, where everyone got to have a go at being a bit more creative. Special thanks to @Herzenszeit. It was a lovely way to catch up and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting. There’s nothing like a bit of downtime and some good food to keep the team spirit high! ✨
