Short version: this site doesn’t track you. The longer version is below.

What this site does not do

No analytics. No advertising pixels. No third-party tracking scripts. No fingerprinting. We don’t share visitor data with anyone, because we don’t collect any to share.

What this site does use

One local preference, on dismissal. When you click “Got it” on our notice bar, we store a single flag in your browser’s localStorage under the key coolplay-cookie-notice-dismissed so the bar doesn’t reappear. This flag never leaves your device.

Self-hosted fonts. The Poppins typeface is served from coolplay.io itself, not from Google. Your IP address is not sent to any third party to render the site.

Google reCAPTCHA — on the account-deletion page only. Our account-deletion form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse (spam, automated mass-submissions). When that specific page loads, Google receives your IP address and basic browser metadata. reCAPTCHA does set cookies in your browser. reCAPTCHA is not loaded on any other page of this site.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Firebase Hosting, operated by Google) keeps standard access logs of requests to the site — IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent. These logs are retained by the provider per their standard policy and are used for security and debugging. We do not export, aggregate, or otherwise process them.

How to opt out / wipe state

There is nothing to opt out of for tracking, because there isn’t any. If you want to clear the dismissal flag for the notice bar, open your browser’s developer tools and remove the coolplay-cookie-notice-dismissed key from localStorage, or clear site data for coolplay.io.

This page covers coolplay.io only. Our games and tools (downloadable from the iOS App Store, Google Play, and window-hopper.com) have their own data practices, documented inside each product and on the app stores.
