FAQs

Do all students nominated by the current Champions/Faculty automatically get selected?

No, nominated students, like other applicants, are also required to go through the standard application process. However, the nomination or recommendation from the current Champions/Faculty does provide them with an advantage over other applicants, giving them an edge during the selection process.

How often are new Student Developer Champions onboarded, and how are the institutions selected?

New champions are onboarded several times throughout the year. Selections are made from institutions that currently do not have an active champion.

Can I apply to become a Student Developer Champion if I am in my final year of studies?

We encourage students with more than one year remaining before graduation to apply. Final-year students often have internships, placement activities, and project submissions, which may limit their ability to fully participate. This ensures they can focus on completing their academic requirements without added pressure.
