Contigo is a social chat app geared towards voice chat rooms, video calls, and real-time interactions. On the platform, you can find themed group spaces to talk with users from different cultures, share written posts and images on a community wall, and send animated gifts during conversations.

Private rooms or chats, the choice is yours

On the main page, you will see three sections from which you can interact with other users. On the Home page, there's a list of popular people on the platform, where you can view their names, photos, and any messages they may have left. Secondly, there are the chat rooms, where you can join various group rooms to interact with other users. Finally, from the messages section, you can chat privately with other users on the platform by sending voice messages, images, or simply text. If you want to make a private video call, you'll have to send gifts and have a certain number of points beforehand.

Gifts in exchange for reaching a certain level

In group or private chat rooms, you can send gifts to other users on the platform. Gifts cost coins, and your level on the platform depends on the amount of coins you acquire. Each time you increase your level, you will gain privileges and attract more attention from other users. When you open your account, you will have 3,350 coins, and the top-ups cost varying amounts of money. For example, for $1 you can get 3,000 coins, or for $99 you can get 325,000 coins, so you will have to spend money in order to get the most out of this app. To see who has viewed your profile, for example, you have to reach level 5.

My experience with Contigo

After completing the initial registration, where I provided my name, date of birth, gender, and a photo, I navigated through the voice room menu and joined an open conversation about literature and travel. I requested access to the audio panel, turned on my device's microphone, and discussed a couple of books I read recently with the participants in the room. Next, I selected a virtual gift from the catalog and sent it to the session creator. Then I saw that private chats were being opened for me, and I started talking to people. Finally, I initiated a video call with a new friend that I had added to my list, and we both hit it off.

What I like most about Contigo and what could be improved

· What I liked the most: the variety of themed voice rooms and the ability to switch between group and individual chats without changing menus.

· What could be improved: some rooms have just a few people, and sometimes chats with people who aren't real will open automatically.
