    Bridge defects in EUV chemically amplified resists have long been a challenge for advanced node semiconductor manufacturing. At Entegris, we teamed up with imec to tackle this issue head-on by testing next-generation UPE filters designed to capture rigid molecular aggregates without slowing down flow. What did we learn? The Impact DR5 filter reduced bridge defects by more than 60% compared to earlier designs. As fabs move toward more advanced nodes and high-NA EUV systems, filtration strategies like these will be critical for success.
