This is one of the more interesting reliability roles in Canada right now. Here's the shape of it. We serve 4M+ Canadians and hold $125B+ in assets. When something goes wrong on a critical flow — it's someone's money. The Production Engineering team exists to maintain critical uptime targets and keep the error rate clients see vanishingly low. This Staff role is the technical anchor for that work. You won't own one service; you'll work across platform and product teams to find the highest-leverage reliability problems, then build the guardrails, defaults, and tooling that keep them from recurring anywhere else. If you've spent 8+ years in platform/infra/SRE work, you think in systems rather than in patches, and you've moved reliability standards across an org without direct authority — I'd love to talk 🤝 Remote, Canada.

After almost seven years of learning and growing at Wealthsimple, I decided it was time to move on to the next leg of my journey. I'm very grateful to all of the brilliant colleagues I met and proud of what I was able to achieve as a part of the platform team. I'm also really excited about seeing a new side of platform development at Jane. Everyone I've met so far has been so kind and welcoming -- I can't wait to begin building great things together!
