Last week, our development team shared what came out of our recent innovation bootcamp. The team dedicated a full day to step back from delivery and rethink how we work, focusing not just on how fast we can move, but how well we can build. A big focus has been exploring new, cutting-edge ways to support the way we design, develop, and validate our work. Reducing friction between design and development, surfacing issues earlier, and creating a more seamless path from concept to build. From more streamlined workflows, to faster and more consistent delivery, to embedding WCAG accessibility into the process from the start, the goal is simple: better outcomes, not just quicker ones. It's still early, but it's exciting to see these ideas already shaping how we work day to day.

A rebrand we delivered for Volaby, a volunteer management platform designed to streamline onboarding, rostering and reporting for community organisations. The brief went beyond a visual refresh. Volaby exists to help non-profits activate volunteers faster, reduce admin, and amplify impact. With volunteers juggling limited time, the brand needed to feel simple, modern and genuinely supportive. We shaped the brand from the ground up. A flexible colour system, considered typography, and a clearer brand language that feels active, collaborative and human. The result is a scalable identity that continues to empower their in-house team and is still going strong a couple of years on.
