When Sasha Gubochkin joined Capital.com as Chief Product Officer, an idea went through seven hand-offs before a client ever saw it. A year later, every client journey has a named owner. Building for better decisions starts with how our own teams make them. In his new article, Sasha explains what "product-led" means to him. He writes about teams that own the outcome, follow the evidence and are willing to stop work that isn't serving clients. https://lnkd.in/eGguytFH #ProductLeadership #Fintech #BuiltforBetterDecisions

Our tech-first platform delivers exactly that to thousands of traders around the world, through powerful tools, transparent pricing, and education built around the quality of the decision, not just the outcome. As we grow, our people and our culture remain at the heart of it, which is why we invest in world-class teams who share a passion for building, innovating, and making markets more accessible to everyone. Today, we're 1,400+ people strong, working across 8 global offices, from London to Warsaw, Limassol to Dubai, and beyond. And we're hiring. We're looking for engineers, designers, and visionaries who thrive on challenge, value innovation, and want to help traders make better decisions under pressure. Recently, our Sofia office hosted dev.bg for the fifth Office Tech Talks. Sean Noonan, one of our AI Product & Research Engineers, flew in from London to talk about the gap most teams hit: getting an AI prototype to hold up in production. Then: questions, debate, and an evening of networking with Sofia's dev community over food and drinks. Follow dev.bg for updates and join us at the next tech talk in September. Today Capital.com takes the next step in its evolution and becomes a multi-asset trading and investment platform in Europe. Clients across our European markets can now invest directly in stocks and ETFs. This extends the platform from short-term trading into long-term investing. The range covers more than 2,280 stocks and ETFs. The move reflects how clients approach markets. Some come to act on a short-term view, and others are building positions they intend to hold for years. Built for Better Decisions, the principle behind our platform, means matching the instrument to the client's intention. Direct ownership of stocks and ETFs gives long-term investors a product made for that purpose. It sits alongside the trading instruments already on the platform and uses the same research, charting and portfolio tools. "Across Europe, clients rarely fit into a single category. Many trade on short-term views and build long-term positions within the same week," said Christoforos Soutzis, CEO Europe. "That is why we decided to expand our offering and become a multi-asset provider, giving clients across Europe a genuine choice between the two, in one place." Europe is first, and the rollout to the UK and UAE follows in the coming months. Stocks and ETFs are offered on an execution-only, non-advised basis to eligible clients in nearly all of our EEA markets. Availability varies by country. DISCLAIMER Among the financial products offered by Capital Com Group Ltd are stocks and exchange-traded funds. Investments can lose value, and your capital is at risk. Potential clients are encouraged to carefully assess their individual investment objectives and risk tolerance prior to engaging in transactions involving these instruments. https://lnkd.in/etb_w5P4 #MultiAsset #Investing #Stocks #ETFs #Europe

Can understanding how to make decisions improve financial literacy? That's the question at the centre of our new documentary with BBC Storyworks, featured as part of Value Generation, a content series produced for Innovate Finance that explores how fintech innovation is reshaping the global financial landscape and driving inclusion, resilience, literacy and prosperity worldwide. Our five-year research partnership with Saïd Business School, University of Oxford examining how people make financial decisions under uncertainty, is what brought us into this chapter of the series. Most efforts to build financial literacy start with information. This one starts with behaviour, examining how people actually decide when the outcome is uncertain, a factor that gets harder to see as financial technology grows more complex. The research sits close to what we build every day, a platform designed around the quality of a decision, alongside the outcome it produces. If financial literacy is going to keep pace with how people actually trade and invest, it has to account for behaviour as much as knowledge. Capital.com has completed its digital assets licensing process in the UAE, receiving approval from the UAE Capital Markets Authority in the first week of July after a twelve-month review. Rahul Kumar, Head of Digital Assets MENA at Capital.com and a Council Member of MFTA's Policy and Regulatory Working Group, walked through what that process actually involved in a conversation with FINTECH.TV's Raghda Ibraheem on Capital Markets: Wall Street to MENA. The path ran in two stages, starting with presenting the business model and governance structure to regulators, then moving to incorporation, opening our Abu Dhabi office, and building out the team. Every step followed the same order, with compliance first and speed second. For a firm operating across multiple regulated jurisdictions, the detail behind how a licence was built says as much about the governance underneath a platform as the licence itself. That governance is what lets clients make considered decisions about digital assets within a regulated framework. There's no seniority on an obstacle course. Our Sofia team found that out at Legion Run this month. They got muddy, pushed through the challenges, and had each other's backs, same as they do at work (minus the mud). Want to work with people who show up for each other?
