Adobe Camera Raw overview
The Adobe Camera Raw plug-in became the latest must-have tool for professional photographers when it was released in February 2003. This powerful plug-in has been frequently updated to support more cameras and include more features and is available as part of Adobe Photoshop CS6. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom software is built upon the same powerful raw processing technology that is available in the Camera Raw plug-in.
What's new in version 18.4
- Select subjects with more precision when masking — Separate subjects from busy backgrounds with enhanced subject detection and more accurate selections for faster, cleaner masks.
- View hue and saturation with Vectorscope — Visualize the hue and saturation distributions in your photos using a Vectorscope to make accurate tonal adjustments, standardize skin tones, and perform color grading.
- Apply targeted adjustments with Bidirectional gradient — Create two-sided gradient masks for smoother transitions and more precise adjustments when masking.
- Edit photos from newly supported cameras — Find the newly added cameras in the supported camera profile list.
- Explore support for new lenses — Find the newly added lenses in the supported lens profile list.
Fixed issues
- Histogram isn't visible in Adobe Camera Raw (version 18.3.1), but it displays correctly when using the Camera Raw filter in Photoshop.

norpt working with OSX 10.13.1 beta 5. DNG Converter open but no app window show up. about show the version fine. Fix please Adobe. It is very shoddy app

Although you describe this as Camera Raw 9.8, the link is actually to DNG converter--which means my Adobe CS6 programs can't read the raw files from the Olympus EM-1 MarkII. Cl;early part of Adobe's attempt to force us to use the Creative Cloud versions.

] Will Adobe Camera Raw 7.4 or 8.7.1 work with Adobe Photoshop CS 5 version 12.1 x64 bit on a Mac OSX version 10.7.5 Lion.I am having differculty opening Raw RAF files on Camera Fuji X100s.Many thanks for your help out there.
