Sanderlings is an immaculately presented, single storey, holiday home Weybourne. Owned by Andrew and Susan it is their much loved holiday home. Sanderlings sleeps 6 guests in three really comfortable and beautifully presented bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower room. The interiors are stylish with quality fittings, furnishings and linen throughout.
The living space is a real surprise when you walk in, it is light and bright with glass roof lights and bi fold doors to really let the outside in. It is a sociable space with the kitchen to one side, bisected with an island. To the other side is the dining area making for great family meals and memories. The comfortable sofas give you the perfect view over the garden
The kitchen is extremely well equipped with quality appliances including a coffee maker, and plenty of crockery and cooking utensils. To the centre is an island with sink looking towards the garden. A separate utility room houses the washing machine.
The main bedroom has a king size bed and views over the garden, plus and en suite shower room. The other two bedrooms are king size as well. The family bathroom has a double ended bath and a separate shower cubicle.
To the rear the garden is enclosed, and mainly laid to lawn. A small stream runs though the garden, making it a haven for wildlife and birds (Please note this can be fenced off for safety if required) A patio area with garden furniture is the perfect way to end your day with a glass of wine in the evening sunshine. There is parking outside for two cars.
Sanderlings is only 4.5 miles from the historic market town of Holt, with many independent shops, cafes and restaurants. You can easily spend a whole day pottering about the antique shops and galleries.
Weybourne is an old fishing village where you can still see the crab boats bring in their catch, the boats being hauled up onto the shingle beach. During the second World War the village was used as a listening base and you can still visit the famous Muckleburgh Collection and see the original radar and radio station along with the huge collection of military vehicles. There is a very interesting local history section with many
photos of wartime in the village, very well worth a visit. You also have the North Norfolk Steam Railway right on your doorstep, Weybourne Station is on the Poppy Line and you can travel to Holt and Sheringham in style. The beach is shingle and steep but you have sandy beaches on your doorstep with West Runton, Sheringham and Cromer, to the east or Wells to the west. The walk along the cliff tops into Sheringham is beautiful and the views are magnificent, taking in Sheringham golf course on the way! Weybourne Mill photo credit Sue Bignall.
