The lack of readable maps was one of my biggest gripes with the spacefaring adventure game; regardless of how many times I visited a city, I got lost. Thankfully, that’s changing. It’s an essential part of Starfield’s latest patch, which is currently in beta, that also adjusts several other annoying issues with the game. Bethesda doesn’t have a release date for the patch just yet, but it shouldn’t be too long.

The 10 best Starfield mods to upgrade your gameplay

ashley-bardhan

Starfield

PC

Starfield

Windows

I land my ship in the state of Florida and it looks nothing like the state I know. Rather than seeing the open ocean, twisting mangroves, and lush tropical plants, a desert covers the land as far as the eye can see. I, a Xenobiologist, scan the planet and see there’s no flora or fauna left; only basic Earth minerals remain.
