Almost all of our computer mice can be connected via the USB port for both a wired mouse and wireless mice. A wireless Bluetooth mouse works with Bluetooth connectivity between the mouse itself and the USB receiver that you plug into your PC. A wireless mouse gives you more freedom in your movements however with a wired mouse you do not need to worry about battery life.

A lot of people get confused between laser mice and optical mice, when really, every mouse is optical. These days, mice project an infrared or red LED light onto the surface and this is then bounced off of the surface, back into the mouse and its CMOS sensors. These optical sensors interpret the information and track the movement of your mouse. On a laser mouse, the red LED is replaced with an invisible laser beam. However, other than this, they work in the same way.

An ergonomic mouse is recommended when you are using a computer for extended periods of time as these are designed to comfortably fit the human hand and arm. The style of these help to keep your hand, wrist and arm in a natural position, many having the mouse buttons on the side rather than on the top. Some even come with a small built in palm rest for additional comfort.
