What is the difference between SD, SDHC and SDXC?
SDHC cards are perfect for High Definition video recording as they have a faster internal system than SD meaning higher data transfer speeds. Cards with a higher capacity than 32GB are classed as SDXC.

Understanding speed classes
Card speeds are defined using two terms: Speed Class, and UHS (Ultra High Speed) Speed Class.
- Speed class is the original rating used and the number defines the card speed; 4 for 4MB/s, 6 for 6MB/s etc.
- UHS (Ultra High Speed) uses minimum write speeds to differentiate the cards; UHS-I Speed Class 1 has a minimum write speed of 10MB/s while UHS-I Speed Class 3 has a minimum write speed of 30MB/s.
The higher the UHS speed class, the faster the card.

Additional classifications
- Video class is a new speed class rating to identify cards that can handle higher video resolutions and recording features and range from V6 to V90. This rating guarantees minimum sustained performance
for multiple video streams, 360 capture, virtual reality content or 8K and higher resolution video.
- Made for Android - Cards with an A1 app performance are specifically designed to use and enhance performance in Android devices.
Note only will your apps launch faster, but you can store apps directly onto the card, freeing up physical storage space on your device.
