Tableau analytics & BI automation
Tableau is the analytics and BI platform teams use to publish dashboards, data sources, and flows that the whole company reads. The NoClick Tableau node works against the Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud REST API, so a workflow can manage the parts of a site that usually eat an analyst's afternoon: adding users to a site or group, granting permissions on data sources and flows, tagging columns, tables, and databases, attaching data quality warnings, favoriting views and metrics, and scheduling data source refreshes. It can also add users to data-driven alerts and pull items into collections and group sets. Put it on the canvas when you want site governance and content upkeep to happen on their own instead of one right-click at a time.
Yes. The Tableau node adds users to a site, adds users to groups, adds groups to group sets, and sets permissions on both data sources and flows. Wire these to any trigger so a new-hire form, an HR event, or an admin promotion can provision access without a manual pass through the site settings.
It can. The node has triggers for On Data Source Refresh Failed and On Data Source Refresh Started, so a workflow fires the moment a refresh breaks. From there you can attach a data quality warning to the source, notify the owner, or take any other action to keep readers from trusting stale data.
Yes. You can add tags to columns, tables, databases, data sources, and views, plus raise data quality warnings on sources that need attention. Drive these from a schedule or a spreadsheet of governance rules so the catalog stays labeled as content changes.
You authenticate the node against your Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud site, then point it at the operation you want. Once connected, the same credential covers user management, permissions, tagging, favorites, and refresh scheduling across your site.
It can. The node adds data sources, flows, metrics, projects, and views to favorites, and it can add a data source to a refresh schedule. Combine them so a workflow surfaces the right dashboards to a new team and keeps the underlying sources refreshing on cadence.
