Manual Run Trigger
The Run trigger starts a workflow on demand. There is nothing to configure: whenever you press Run on the canvas or invoke the workflow directly, this trigger fires it once. It is the simplest way to begin a workflow and is ideal while you are building and testing, or for tasks you only want to run when you decide to. When you later need automatic execution, you can swap in a schedule, a webhook, or a form without rebuilding the rest of the workflow.

Add a Run trigger to the workflow and press the Run button on the canvas whenever you want it to execute. It runs the workflow once per click, which makes it well suited to building, testing, and one-off tasks.
No. The Run trigger has no settings to fill in, so you can drop it into a workflow and run immediately. This keeps the focus on the nodes that do the actual work.
Yes. The trigger is just the entry point of the workflow, so you can replace the Run trigger with a Cron, Webhook, or Form trigger when you are ready to automate. The rest of the workflow stays exactly as you built it.
Use it while developing a workflow, for tasks you only want to perform occasionally, or when you want full control over the timing. If a workflow should run on its own at set times or in response to outside events, choose a schedule or webhook instead.
