It's really really enjoyable, and that's what a game should be. truth be told the acting is a lot better than most horror movies, especially hayden panetere and the swedish guy who played doctor hill. It's one of the best interactive games I've ever played and I've played most of them.

This game is actually MUCH better on a higher end computer than console. I bought it for PS4 first and HOLY F%ck was it choppy. Like 15-20 frame rates a second. It looked and played horribly and load times took FOREVER for every little screen. Fast forward to 970 gtx i7 computer with an xbox 360 controller and hey, it plays much much better. Still has a lot of flaws but 1000 times better than dragon age inquisition... and a cool story. witcher 2 is still much better / more innovative.

Way too much praise and not enough criticism for the flaws. The game is VERY choppy, and everything feels herky jerky. Its so jerky its hard to stop and loot things because the loot box is so small and you can't stop right on the X marking to pick something up Also the lack of live motion capture is very evident. The animations are pretty awful. That being said, i love the witcher story and this game has great dialogue and interactions... but dear god, the movement and animations are terrible.

This game is massive in scope. It has nice graphics, especially the ocean!! I want to address two major flaws that really turned me off of the game. First is combat. It is terrible, really beyond terrible because on normal difficulty it's literally just stand there until your party destroys the enemy. On harder difficulties using the combat camera to control the battle is unwieldy and really impossible in some cases. Your party simply will decide to shoot an incapacitated enemy or cast some foolish spell at the wrong time. If you turn off all spell casting for all party members it becomes an extremely tedious click fest of rotating among all 4 party members every second and even then they will randomly target a troop you did not tell them to attack or go off running. As has been pointed out a number of times combat camera is badly done, it is hard to see a battle overview, and every time you switch characters to attack to same monster it moves back to the spot of the character making you have to scroll way back over to the same monster for each character.... super annoying. My second criticism is the game is super confusing for people not intimately acquainted with dragon age. I played DA2 a long time ago and cant really remember it and didn't follow the story closely and DA3 is full of obscure references that are meaningless. Also the text is WAY too wordy without purpose. I don't play a game to read meaningless text on old battles or purposefully obtuse explanations of why a cabin was abandoned.

It's a hack and slash akin to the batman game, but it is VERY fun. It is just the right amount of challenging to where you have to be focused and smart to win and there are cool creative ways to kill orcs. The best part about the game is being in LOTR and feeling like I'm standing against a tide of orcs. The voice acting and story is engaging and excellent. It is a great game if you like action games or LOTRs.

This game is really poor, even for what it attempts to be. It feels like you're playing a rough early beta version of the game, weird bugs constantly occur, like missing quests, containers that can't be accessed, weird lighting effects, map won't move, etc. I used to play this type of game all the time, think fallout 2, diablo, etc. Those games, well over a decade older, play and work much better than this game. The graphics and lighting are very badly done to the point where it is difficult to play because everything blurs together. The gameplay itself is pretty tedious and drawn out for no purpose. It is just frustrating on every level to play and not at all enjoyable and I'm someone who really loves RPGs and this type of game. The only positive is that the game has some well timed humor but that is hardly a saving grace for the mess that it is.
