Thanks for the reference to ClearDiskInfo. The CrystalDiskInfo website looks shady, and when I downloaded what I thought was CrystalDiskInfo it was something else entirely. I found ClearDiskInfo on a website I trust that has links only to the software it offers.

Rob I haven't seen M4s available at any price. Amazon wants $600-$700 for refurbished M2s. Lots of decent Mini PCs for less than that.

Make sure you use the /O (letter O, not zero) switch. I misread the command as using 0 (zero) with the same result you got.

With 192GB of RAM, I've been running with no pagefile.sys for months with no issues. This article prompted me to let Windows manage pagefile.sys, and it set the size at ~23GB. Good thing I have a 4TB boot drive.
I'll try this for a while, but since I've had no issues I'll probably go back to no pagefile.sys fairly soon.
