Simple is always better, which is why Keep is actually better than this. As for "free" etc. - so is Keep. And if you want Social stuff - use Social apps. As the man said "if you want to shoot - shoot, don't talk" and same here "if you want Social - use Social app, but if you want simple note taking with great capabilities and convenience - absolutely use Google Keep Notes".
