Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain applications using a variety of technologies that support multiple lines of business and IT initiatives.
  • Work with and lead other developers to define and document the architecture and development patterns including best practices.
  • Design, monitor, and maintain systems for high-level performance, security, and availability.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze systems.
  • Research and develop new technologies.
  • Contribute to unit, system, user acceptance, and security testing.
  • Function as a technical lead for development efforts and mentor other team members.
  • Identify and communicate the need for resources for assigned tasks or areas.
  • Develop applications in an Agile environment.
  • Analyze end-user data needs and develop user-oriented solutions that interface with existing applications.
  • Write structured application/interface code from specifications, conforming to established methodologies and standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to represent the reviewed work and ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
  • Write or revise program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides in accordance with standards.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience building applications on the .NET Platform.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Application Development using Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, React, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with Entity Framework Code First and Unit Testing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Web Apps, Function Apps, API Apps, and Logic Apps.
  • Experience in developing and implementing SQL scripts, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
  • Experience working with Web Services, XML, SOA, and JSON.
  • Sound knowledge of how to create and consume REST APIs.
  • Experience in Responsive Design using React.
  • Experience in Full-Stack Development.
  • Sound understanding of application life cycles and Client/Server architectures in an enterprise environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
  • Exposure to or hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions, including Azure AI services, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio.

This is a REMOTE 6-month Contract-for-Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client. 100% Paid employee Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k) (with immediately vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period.
