A growing advanced manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the development, optimization, and scale-up of complex manufacturing operations. This is a highly visible role where you'll partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve efficiency, increase throughput, and support new product introductions in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to support production efficiency, quality, and scalability
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, throughput improvements, and operational excellence
  • Evaluate and optimize manufacturing equipment, tooling, and production workflows
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) activities and ensure designs are manufacturable and production-ready
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards
  • Partner with Quality teams to investigate production issues, implement corrective actions, and improve process capability
  • Provide hands-on support to production teams by troubleshooting manufacturing challenges and identifying root causes
  • Lead projects focused on process optimization, productivity improvements, and cost reduction
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams
  • Promote and support a strong culture of safety throughout the manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3-7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a production environment
  • Experience supporting fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, electronics manufacturing, or other complex manufacturing processes
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and implement sustainable solutions
  • Experience developing work instructions, manufacturing documentation, and process controls
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working directly on the production floor and partnering with operations teams
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environment
