Brewster Academy is a private, coeducational boarding and day school located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, dedicated to our mission of preparing diverse thinkers for lives of purpose. Essential Duties
Teach 4 sections of science/physics
Submit grades/comments
Communicate with parents, as needed
Participate in faculty, department, and team meetings
Serve as an academic/extracurricular advisor to approximately 6 to 8 students
Coach or assist with afternoon athletics for 2 seasons per year, or lead/support other co-curricular activities, or serve as a primary dorm affiliate, year-round
Provide weekend coverage approximately 5 times per academic year
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
Teaching experience is preferred but not required
Passion for teaching
Enjoy working in a team environment
Commitment to working in an inclusive community
Coach or assist with sports or afternoon activities is required (experience with ice hockey, soccer, crew, basketball, tennis, or dance is preferred).
