General Manager | Managing Partner Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior restaurant leadership role (General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or similar)
  • Proven success leading restaurants generating $5M+ in annual sales; $8M+ preferred
  • Strong financial management, including budgeting, P&L, labor, food, beverage, and controllable costs
  • Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and retain high-performance teams
  • Deep understanding of upscale dining, beverage programs, and guest relations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with restaurant technology platforms and operational reporting systems
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

General Manager | Managing Partner Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience opening new restaurants, leading turnarounds, or scaling high-growth concepts
  • Strong background in fine dining, polished casual, or lifestyle-focused hospitality
  • History of developing future leaders and building strong leadership pipelines

General Manager | Managing Partner Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse front- and back-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and P&L management
  • Implement and uphold brand standards, operational procedures, and service excellence throughout the restaurant
  • Maintain a hands-on presence on the floor, engaging team members and guests alike
  • Drive continuous improvement across operations, guest satisfaction, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health codes, liquor laws, and corporate policies
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive workplace culture grounded in accountability and professional growth
