We are hiring a Java Developer to join a distributed engineering team delivering reliable, performant services for US-based remote users.

Java Developer (Remote - United States)
Role & Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain Java-based backend services and APIs using Spring Boot to support assessment, scoring, and user-management workflows.
Build and document RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring scalable, secure integrations with front-end applications and third-party systems.
Write clean, maintainable code with automated unit and integration tests (JUnit), and participate in regular code reviews to maintain code quality.
Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deploy features via CI/CD pipelines and maintain observability (logging, metrics, alerts) for production services.
Profile and optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement resilience patterns (circuit breakers, retries, graceful degradation).
Contribute to architecture discussions, technical documentation, and developer best practices to improve team delivery and system reliability.

Qualifications
