We are seeking a dedicated Intelligence Analyst to join our team in supporting visa screening and vetting processes. In this role, you will analyze potential risks related to technology transfer, counterintelligence, and proliferation concerns by conducting thorough research and preparing detailed reports. Your insights will help inform visa adjudications and strengthen national security efforts. Education Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is required for this role. Candidates with relevant experience in research, intelligence, or threat analysis may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Clearance Requirements
This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, or the ability to obtain one. Candidates must be able to maintain this clearance throughout employment.
Work Arrangement
This is an on-site position. The role requires a minimum of four days per week onsite at either NTC in Sterling, VA, or NSD in Tyson’s Corner, VA.
Responsibilities
Conduct screening and vetting of visa applicants for technology transfer, counterintelligence, and proliferation concerns
Identify potential risks and share analytical leads with partner agencies
Prepare and present “deep dive” reports on persons, entities, and technologies of interest
Analyze disparate data sources to draw informed conclusions
Support intelligence investigations and threat assessments
Maintain detailed records of findings and ensure compliance with security protocols
Collaborate with team members to develop intelligence products and briefings
Stay current on developments in threat analysis, sanctions, and foreign language proficiency as applicable
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of experience in research, intelligence, or threat analysis
Current active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain SCI
Experience in screening and vetting; intelligence or investigations; counter-proliferation; technology transfer; OSINT; financial investigations/analysis; classified research; development of intelligence products and briefings; network analysis
Familiarity with visa lifecycle processes
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to draw conclusions from disparate data
Attention to detail and analytical rigor
Experience with sanctions and foreign language proficiency is a plus
Desired Skills
Knowledge of threat assessment methodologies and intelligence analysis tools
Experience working with government agencies or in classified environments
Strong communication skills for briefing and report writing
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
