Financial Controller

Silverwell is seeking an experienced Financial Controller who will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting, accounting operations, compliance, and financial governance across the Western Hemisphere. The position reports to the Group Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities

•       Lead regional financial reporting and month-end/year-end close activities.

•       Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes for the region.

•       Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.

•       Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial governance processes.

•       Liaise with external auditors and support tax compliance activities.

•       Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

•       Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and accounting functions.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

•       Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

•       CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting designation.

•       Significant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and financial management.

•       Strong knowledge of accounting standards, financial controls, and compliance requirements.

•       Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

•       Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or oil & gas operations.

•       Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor is an advantage).

•       Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Desirable:

•       Inventory management experience.

•       Experience working in a multinational organization.
