Position Overview

Gemean is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team.  As a data Analyst, you will be instrumental in translating complex datasets into strategic insights that support forensic investigations, risk management, and organizational decision-making. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources, including structured and unstructured data environments
  • Develop, implement, and optimize data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to facilitate real-time insights and decision-making
  • Use SQL, Python, R, or similar tools to manipulate data, identify trends, and surface actionable insights that align with forensic, cybersecurity, or legal objectives
  • Collaborate with forensic analysts, investigators, and cybersecurity teams to interpret data and support investigations with evidence-backed analysis
  • Assist in the automation of data review processes using AI-powered tools like PythAI, reducing manual effort and increasing review accuracy
  • Write detailed reports, visualizations, and presentations tailored to different audiences, including non-technical stakeholders and legal professionals
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory standards
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in data analytics, AI, and forensic technologies to continually improve analysis techniques


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3 years relevant professional experience
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple platforms and formats
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present insights and findings


Additional Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning applications, especially in document review or data filtering
  • Knowledge of forensic, cybersecurity, or legal data environments is desirable but not mandatory
