Position Summary

Be Pro Be Proud is seeking a Creative Designer to support national and state initiatives through high-quality, strategic creative development. This role will focus on campaign creative, template creation, and event materials that elevate awareness of high-demand, high-wage technical professions.

This is a fast-paced role for a creative thinker who can translate strategy into clear, compelling visual content. The ideal candidate understands how creative assets are used across campaigns, partners, and events and can design with purpose, consistency, and scalability in mind.

This position is fully in-person and reports directly to the Brand and Outreach Director.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Creative Development

  • Design creative assets that support national, Arkansas, and Alabama campaigns
  • Translate messaging and strategic goals into effective visual content
  • Ensure all creative aligns with Be Pro Be Proud brand guidelines and mission

Template Creation and Brand Consistency

  • Develop scalable templates for presentations, one-pagers, partner uses, and internal use
  • Maintain visual consistency across states, partners, and initiatives
  • Support ongoing brand organization and asset management

Event and Mobile Workshop Materials

  • Create event collateral including signage, banners, printed materials, and digital displays
  • Design materials that support the Mobile Workshop experience and partner activations
  • Ensure materials are clear, engaging, and aligned with program goals

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with leadership, communications, development, Draft Day team, and state teams to meet creative needs
  • Support fast-turn creative requests while maintaining quality and accuracy
  • Receive feedback positively and iterate efficiently

Strategic Content Support

  • Think beyond individual assets and understand how content will be used across campaigns and audiences
  • Contribute ideas that strengthen storytelling around technical professions and workforce impact
  • Help ensure creative supports student, educator, and partner engagement
  • Support light copywriting needs including headlines, short-form content, and messaging for creative assets in alignment with Be Pro Be Proud brand voice

Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in graphic design, creative content, or a related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign, print, and template design work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Experience with Canva and PowerPoint design
  • Familiarity with HubSpot asset creation is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Be Pro Be Proud is a workforce development initiative originated by the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas (AIA) that successfully connects students around the country to high-tech, high-paying technical careers. Through partnerships with state agencies, local industry, and higher education entities, Be Pro Be Proud is effectively working to replenish the professional workforce that has been experiencing a drastic decline. Be Pro Be Proud was launched in Arkansas in 2016 and has since licensed efforts in Alabama, Georgia, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
