$80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
A National law firm in New York is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a corporate practice group while also assisting with day-to-day office operations. This role blends legal support, administrative coordination, and office management responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, edit, and format legal documents (contracts, agreements, presentations, spreadsheets); manage redlining and document conversions
Support transactional matters, including document execution, tracking, and file management
Maintain calendars, coordinate meetings, manage travel, and assist with time entry and billing
Organize and maintain client files and records with strict confidentiality
Conduct basic legal and corporate research as needed
Serve as an on-site point of contact for office operations, vendor coordination, and supply management
Coordinate logistics across multiple office locations and support special projects
Qualifications
5+ years of experience supporting corporate attorneys
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with billing systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of legal terminology, document formatting, and procedures
Professional, proactive, and client-service oriented
Education
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
