We are seeking a driven, curious, and relentlessly resourceful Entry-Level Sales Associate to help open new doors for team partnerships. You’ll specialize in top-of-funnel prospecting and deep research - mapping industries, brands, and decision-makers—so our senior sellers can convert interest into long-term, high-impact sponsorships. Research and build targeted lead lists across key industries (tech, fintech, logistics, CPG, beverages, auto/EV, luxury, travel, health, and more).
Source and qualify new accounts through email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and referrals.
Craft tailored outreach that connects each brand’s goals to CGR’s powerful platform.
Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings for senior sales executives.
Market Research & Insights
Create brand and vertical briefs that highlight market size, growth drivers, and sponsorship trends.
Map accounts to identify budget owners, decision-makers, and influencers.
Track industry developments (funding, leadership changes, new campaigns) and share actionable insights weekly.
Sales Enablement & Support
Draft email sequences, talk tracks, and short decks for outreach.
Prepare meeting briefs with clear objectives and proof points.
Log activity, maintain CRM data, and track progress toward goals.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Partner with Marketing to create mock assets and concept pitches.
Work with Events and Hospitality teams on race-weekend experiences.
Collaborate with Analytics and Content teams to provide audience insights and performance data.
To Be Successful In This Role, You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or 0–2 years of experience in sales development, business research, or partnerships (sports, media, or B2B preferred).
Strong written and verbal communication—especially the ability to craft a clear, engaging email.
Curiosity and resourcefulness—you love researching, connecting dots, and finding patterns.
Coachability, grit, and strong follow-through.
Professional presence across calls, emails, and meetings.
Experience with Pipedrive, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Sponsor United, Meltwater, Google Workspace, or Canva is preferred but not required
