NEWS | Auto loan refinancing surges as higher vehicle costs squeeze consumer budgets: Caribou's Q2 data shows refinancing customers saved an average of $162 per month, double the industry average. Subprime borrowers saw the biggest relief, dropping their APR by 6.18 percentage points on average. The average refinanced loan balance hit $34,378, reflecting how deep consumers are leaning on financing. EV owners who refinanced saved $190 per month, up from $176 a year earlier. What this means for dealers: Buyers are actively hunting for payment relief. Dealers who lead with financing education and competitive rate conversations are better positioned to close and retain customers long term. CCC Intelligent Solutions CEO Githesh Ramamurthy on yesterday's Q2 earnings call: "One example of how connected workflows are creating value is our partnership with Sunbit, which offers consumers an integrated financing option when they drop off their vehicles for repair. Because the financing option is embedded directly into the repair workflow, consumers can access financing at the point of service without leaving the process. We have seen rapid adoption since launching the solution in April, with more than 2,000 shops onboarded and millions of dollars financed. In addition, one of the nation's largest MSOs has deployed the solution across its coast-to-coast network." We love helping our customers and partners say yes more often. https://lnkd.in/gQK5ynud #fintech #autofinance #embeddedfinance

Yendo just secured a new $200M warehouse facility from i80 Group, following a $150M facility last year. That kind of repeat commitment matters. It signals performance, discipline and confidence in the underlying asset. For those who don’t know the model, Yendo created the first vehicle-secured credit card in the U.S. Instead of relying only on a FICO score, consumers can unlock equity in their car and access up to $10,000 in revolving credit. The product is now live across 45 states. After their $50M Series B in 2025, which we were proud to participate in, the focus has been on scaling originations without compromising credit quality. Congrats to Jordan Miller and the entire team!
