Stripe Sessions is next week, and if you're a startup SaaS platform, here's what I'd put on your radar. Some updates ahead of the event: ➡️ Stripe now has 40 pre-built embedded components you can customize and drop straight into your product — including a new auto-theme that brands them to match your UI from a single screenshot. Big unlock for small teams. ➡️ And networked onboarding now means businesses already known to Stripe can activate on your platform in one click. Platforms using this see 86% of users processing payments within a day. Nearly 3x the industry average. ➡️ If you want to go deeper on driving payments adoption, there's a breakout with GlossGenius, Nextech Systems, and Fullbay covering exactly that, which features, pricing, and marketing tactics that actually convert. If you're at Sessions and want to talk through any of this, come find me, James Matheson, or Claire Haley at the Stripe Startups founders lounge. We're there to answer your questions and talk about how we can help you build.

Maia Josebachvili, CRO of AI at Stripe, shared four GTM playbook trends on that are emerging based on their data. #4 stuck out to me ⬇️ The fastest growing AI companies: 1. Ship product faster 2. Sell globally by default 3. Adapt their pricing 4. Launch enterprise sales year 1 🤯 - this can be sales led or through channel partners. The only way you can build, sell, and iterate both motions at the same time is to have one company growth strategy and experimentation plan. Both sides of the house have to anchor around the same ICP, problem to solve, and why you’re uniquely positioned to solve it for them. I’ll drop the podcast link below starting at the GTM section.

“We’re building roads not cars.” I heard this on my first day at Stripe and it made an impression. We're building financial infrastructure that will power the World’s economy for generations to come. Helping businesses grow by leveraging AI has become a massive part of this mission. 🚀 Today, we launched the Agentic Commerce Suite! A solution that makes it easy for businesses to sell through AI agents without reworking their entire commerce stack. 🛒 Add your product catalog 📦 Accept payments and manage orders 👩‍💻 Onboard agents from the Stripe Dashboard The cars may look a little different than when I first started but we’re still building the roads. 😀🚗 To learn more about how we’re building the infrastructure for agentic commerce feel free to get in touch or check out our blog post: https://lnkd.in/dUGneCPy Join our waitlist: https://lnkd.in/d5pGAjkE

AI is moving fast, but product fundamentals haven’t changed. In this episode of Between Product and Partnerships, we sit down with Stephanie J. Neill, Head of Product at Stripe, to unpack what’s actually shifting in product development right now, and what still holds true. From the pressure to “just use AI” to the reality of messy data and non-negotiable human oversight, this conversation gets into how teams are really working with these tools today. Tune in for a grounded take on where AI fits into product work, and where it doesn’t. 👀 🎙️ Listen here: https://lnkd.in/eXqHKjZq

I stopped by Stripe's annual conference in San Francisco this week and caught the keynote. The entire framing was - we hit "singularity" January 1 2026, as in that's the big inflection point in AI adoption. They then showed these two charts to substantiate - Stripe's CLI (which is strongly correlated with AI use) + new businesses launched on Stripe every month. You can see that inflection point in the data clear as day - roughly January 1 2026. That's the point where I personally found AI really started to become more than a better Google and talk of the coming "AI crash" came to an abrupt halt. My personal token use has at least 100x'd since the beginning of the year. I realize there's selection bias at play here, but the energy here in San Francisco is just incredible. Roaring (19)20's-type energy. I wonder how long this bull market can continue...it may be years before the bottom inevitably falls out. Gravity remains undefeated.

If you're monetizing an AI product and didn't make it to Metronome + Stripe Monetize 2026, we just shipped a hub with some of the recorded talks cover what to meter, how to price, how to give customers visibility and control over spend, and how to forecast AI costs and returns. Big thanks to the excellent contributions made by our friends Alex Atallah of OpenRouter, Kyle Poyar of Growth Unhinged, Michele Catasta of Replit, Aisling O'Reilly of Fin, Karan Parekh of Clay, and Ryan Campbell of Snowflake who made this day jam-packed with learning and community.
