Satty Bhens liked thisSatty Bhens liked thisToday we closed the doors of our Vienna Citypoint office for the last time. After almost 20 years, we're moving to our new home tomorrow. So this isn't the end of the story. It's simply the end of a chapter. But what a chapter it has been. When Citypoint opened in 2007, it reflected the rapid growth and ambition of bwin as a European market leader. Since then, our industry has transformed beyond recognition. Markets regulated, business models evolved, and opportunities emerged. Through all those changes, the colleagues at Citypoint ensured that the company continued to adapt, grow and succeed. The company itself changed too. bwin became bwin.party, then GVC, and ultimately Entain. Mergers, acquisitions and strategic shifts continually reshuffled the deck. But one thing remained constant: the talented people at Citypoint delivered every day. On a personal note, Citypoint is where I arrived in 2008 for what was supposed to be a two-month internship. I still remember sitting at one of these round coffee tables with my laptop, alongside two consultants. That internship became my first and only job after university, and the rest is history. Eighteen years later, it feels slightly surreal to oversee the Vienna office as it makes the move to its next home. A sincere thank you to everyone who was part of the journey at Citypoint. There are far too many people to name, and that's exactly what made the place so special. Tomorrow, we start a new chapter. Austria Campus. See you there.

At Allscripts EPSi I set the technology strategy behind the $365M sale of the business to Roper Technologies and rebuilt a global delivery model, taking most of the cost out of resourcing while speeding up delivery. Earlier I founded, built and sold two technology-services firms in Kansas City, both Inc. 500 honorees.<br><br>I have introduced AI and advanced analytics in practical ways that deliver real business results while keeping governance and trust intact... and the last two years have been about making that part of the daily practice of engineering teams, not a side project.<br><br>Growing up in South Africa and playing competitve tennis shaped how I work: show up, do the reps, respect the people who do the same. That is the culture I try to build. I have coached and mentored leaders across my organizations and have been fortunate to recruit, hire and keep some brilliant people along the way.
