Ryan Scott Tandy shared thisThere's some amazing things happening at SoFi! Thank you Julie and the Borrow team for building some of our most important experiences for our members! 🙌Ryan Scott Tandy shared thisFor students navigating an already stressful financial journey, thoughtful design can help make the experience a little easier. 🧑🎓 We sat down with Julie Palmer, a Senior Designer on our Borrow team who started at SoFi as an intern and has spent the last four years shaping our approach to student loan products. From creating an apples-to-apples loan comparison tool to navigating major policy shifts alongside new graduates, Julie bridges the gap between complex systems and human-centered design. Read the full interview on the SoFi-ety blog to learn how our design team turns complex financial journeys into empowering experiences ➡️ https://lnkd.in/g7F4FCBN

Ryan Scott Tandy shared thisWe're going deeper into uncharted territory, our recent news is pretty exciting.. This week SoFi announced a bank-issued, fully reserved stablecoin. The “crypto” label is almost beside the point; the interesting part is what this enables: real-time money movement, modern settlement rails, and new infrastructure that other products can build on. From a design perspective, this is inspiring work. We are building systems people can trust and giving those systems clarity, personality, and intention at scale. If you’re a designer who’s curious about where financial products are headed and wants to help shape what comes next, we’re spending time here! Please reach out for 2026 opportunities.Ryan Scott Tandy shared thisWe aren't just participating in the future of finance; we are building the infrastructure for it. Today, SoFi Technologies, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of SoFiUSD - a fully reserved U.S. dollar stablecoin issued directly by SoFi Bank, N.A. This launch makes SoFi the first nationally chartered retail bank to issue a stablecoin on a public, permissionless blockchain. SoFiUSD positions us as a stablecoin infrastructure provider for other banks, fintechs, and enterprise platforms. By integrating on-chain settlement, we are helping partners streamline operations and modernize the way they move money. SoFiUSD will also be available soon to all SoFi members. This is a major milestone in building modern financial infrastructure on top of our trusted regulatory foundation. https://lnkd.in/eBrkxPwGSoFi Launches Fully Reserved Stablecoin to Power Financial Infrastructure for Banks, Fintechs, and Enterprise PartnersSoFi Launches Fully Reserved Stablecoin to Power Financial Infrastructure for Banks, Fintechs, and Enterprise Partners

Ryan Scott Tandy shared thisWe launched something pretty special today — the line between traditional finance and crypto is disappearing fast and SoFi is making history as the first U.S. nationally chartered bank to offer direct cryptocurrency trading. Huge shout out to the team, especially those who sprinted on this earlier this year to bring this to life. Denys, Nikita, Ed, Ben Munos, Benedict, Sam, Evan, and Molly — crypto heroes! 🦸♂️🚀 Full story from our commander in chief here: 👉 https://lnkd.in/dtFSEzik

Ryan Scott Tandy shared thisLet’s go SoFi!! 🔥🔥🔥Ryan Scott Tandy shared thisOur CEO, Anthony Noto, joined CNBC to discuss SoFi’s Q2’25 earnings and what’s driving our momentum. We’ve seen exceptional YoY growth this quarter with 44% net revenue growth, 81% EBITDA growth, and 34% growth in both members and products. Anthony shared, “The thing that’s driving it is our diverse platform of businesses. Our strategy to be a one-stop shop. Which means we have products across Borrow, Save, Spend, Invest, and Protect.” Listen to the full interview to hear how SoFi is sustaining durable growth and delivering strong returns ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gYxQRAcF

Ryan Scott Tandy reacted on thisRyan Scott Tandy reacted on thisEveryone is trying to sell you a cute AI agent these days. I'm already tied to Claude Code and Codex and I already own a watch, so I built my own little agent club instead. And I'm open sourcing it. Chums are little characters on my watch. Each character is a Claude Code or Codex session running on my computer. Its animation shows the session’s status, and I talk to it by holding the screen. The watch already has an ecosystem of accessories, so it doesn't have to live only on my wrist. It's surprising how much interaction with agents I can get out of that real estate. I gave them their own souls and voices, and I also get images and other artifacts on the tiny device. When its too tiny or tucked away, I also built a phone app, synced with the live data and with even richer artifacts. Because Im not tied to any visual identity, I built each character a different way: a 3D tube computed live on the watch, Blender animations, vector shapes, a single line, marker strokes on springs, plain eyes, pixel art. You can make your own character starting from the files in the repo. It also comes with: - Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets that show your agents and answer approvals - Claude Code or Codex per agent, with its own model, permissions and voice - speech to text and voices that run locally on your computerIts free and open source. No new device, no new subscription, no Chums account. Website: https://chums.club GitHub: https://lnkd.in/gSgm8EJ7

Ryan Scott Tandy reacted on thisRyan Scott Tandy reacted on thisThe Art of WAR For HBO’s new series WAR, we explored conflict through the language of abstract expressionism—translating the rivalry between two of London’s most prestigious law firms into an evolving landscape of paint, texture, and movement. Under the creative direction of Ronnie Koff, our team began treating the opposing forms like two boxers in a ring: circling, striking, reacting, and pushing against one another. Forms collide, fracture, bleed, and consume one another as moments of control give way to chaos. The result is a visceral, painterly interpretation of conflict—caught somewhere between beauty and destruction, where every gesture feels physical, unpredictable, and charged with consequence. Learn more about how this was made: ▶️ 🖌️ 🖼️ https://lnkd.in/gQqkCz7u Big shoutout to our team: Ronnie Koff, Henry Chang, Kathy L., Lexi Gunvaldson, Drew Tyndell, Jeffrey Xiyang SU, Christina Hwang #WAR #HBO #ImaginaryForces #MainTitleDesign #TitleSequence #MotionDesign

Terminal Fluency: As AI becomes more central to Designer workflows, I’ve been seeing more questions about whether the terminal is still worth learning. I think it is, terminal is core skill that compounds and unlocks next-level control over agents. Make terminal your second brain with this tmux + vim cheatsheet (or just get started) and keep your hands on the keyboard. https://lnkd.in/eV5bAFhF

Customer insights should move faster than opinions. Too often, feedback lives in a doc while decisions keep moving. When that happens, assumptions win. I’ve been working with our team to close that gap. When I talk with customers, I’m listening for patterns of where people hesitate, work around the product, or lose confidence. Those moments usually point to what’s unclear in the experience. Share feedback quickly, in plain language. Tie it directly to decisions happening now and grounded in real customer needs. If you’re working through this too, I’d love to compare notes. #traction #practicalresearch #voc #usability

Part three of my Claude for Designers series is up: How to Install Claude Code, for Designers. The whole install is one copy-paste, really. Everything you're afraid of about the terminal fits inside a single Cmd+V, and the rest takes about five minutes, most of which is your browser opening. Simple stuff. This post is obviously for beginners. I've been getting positive reactions from these, but let me know if you're interested in more advanced stuff too! https://lnkd.in/ek8_UA_x
