It was great to be back at Northern Arizona University my alma mater for the AICCAZ Business Conference! I co-presented on leveraging AI and the cybersecurity risks and threats organizations should consider as AI adoption grows. AI creates tremendous opportunity, but it also introduces new questions around data protection, phishing, fraud, account security, governance, and third-party risk. For many organizations, the best place to start is simply understanding where you may already be exposed. HOZHO Cybersecurity offers a complimentary Cyber Risk Assessment to help identify potential gaps across your email, cloud environment, website, accounts, policies, and external footprint. 👉 Get a free Cyber Risk Assessment at https://lnkd.in/gS_MfMDW #AICCAZ #NorthernArizonaUniversity #NAU #Cybersecurity #ArtificialIntelligence #AI #CyberRisk #ArizonaBusiness #SmallBusiness #NavajoNation #Hopi

The most dangerous vulnerability in Cybersecurity isn't code. It's culture. I spent the morning at the Arizona Technology Council 2025 Cybersecurity Breakfast Forum at Grand Canyon University. The tech discussed was impressive, and the strategies for defense were robust. But there was a silence around the one variable that dictates the success or failure of every implementation: The People. You can buy the most sophisticated AI defense tools on the market, but if your organization operates as an "Anchored Fleet" (low momentum, high resistance), that technology will sit on the shelf or be actively sabotaged by process fatigue. At JetStream Advisors, we define this as the Strategy-Execution Gap. Before we ever advise a client on digital transformation or AI integration, we map the "Team Change Profile." We need to know if we are handing a new tool to a "High-Velocity Crew" who will run with it, or an "Autopilot Crew" that will view it as a disruption to their stability. Don't just audit your firewall. Audit your team's readiness to adopt the tools you're buying them. #AZTC #Cybersecurity #ChangeManagement #JetStreamWay #BusinessTransformation #Leadership

Arizona isn’t just busy. It’s moving into a buying phase. A busy market shows activity: new hires, press releases, and product launches. A buying market shows readiness: budgets are set, procurement is moving, and vendor reviews are underway. Watch for these signals: • Hiring spikes in sales and technical roles • Funding rounds and capital raises • Compliance deadlines and regulatory changes • Expansion announcements and new product launches Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tucson are strong examples. Growth is fast, but IT and procurement maturity varies widely. TXAZ Accelerator tracks these live signals and ranks companies that are preparing to spend. That means less time chasing noise and more time focused on accounts with intent. In Arizona’s fast growth market, timing matters. Spot the shift from busy to buying, then act.

One comment I heard after speaking at SHRM Arizona has stayed with me: “This really helped me with a workplace situation I’m dealing with.” That is the part of speaking that matters most to me. Because a keynote can start the conversation. But what happens when people go back to work is where the real test begins. Can a manager use the idea when an employee pushes back? When emotions are high? When trust is already thin? When a conversation has been avoided for three months? That is where leadership development either becomes practical or stays theoretical. Inspiration can create awareness. But leaders also need language they can use, opportunities to practice, and clear expectations for how they lead when things get uncomfortable. And organizations have to reinforce those behaviors after everyone leaves the room. That is how a good conversation becomes a leadership habit. The goal shouldn't simply be: “That was a great session.” It should eventually become: “That changed how we handle these conversations.”

Attended a great session with Women in Manufacturing Arizona: “Lead Through Change with Confidence” Bobi Seredich Southwest Institute for Emotional Intelligence One idea stuck with me: 👉 Change is situational. Every change requires letting something go. After 10+ years in technology implementation, I’ve seen this play out again and again. We talk about technology as a driver of growth and scale and it is. But what leaders are really managing… is the human side of change. Because the real concern isn’t the tool. It’s the impact on people, productivity, and momentum. A few takeaways I’ll carry forward: • The biggest risk isn’t the technology it’s resistance • The right employees become your strongest advocates for change • Emotional intelligence matters just as much as technical execution • The right partner doesn’t just implement technology they help organizations translate change into measurable business outcomes. And this is the line I’ll keep coming back to: ➡️ Every change requires letting something go and choosing the right people to champion what’s next. Whether it’s AI, cybersecurity, or operational transformation — success lives at the intersection of technology + people. Curious how are you seeing change impact your teams right now? #Leadership #ChangeManagement #Cybersecurity #DigitalTransformation #WomenInManufacturing #AI

The biggest risk with AI right now isn’t the technology. It’s leaders slowly handing over judgment without realizing it. AI is already influencing: * corporate resource allocation * hiring priorities * cybersecurity responses * operational decisions And the more confident the system sounds, the easier it becomes for humans to stop questioning the output. That’s where the real risk begins. Not because AI is “bad.” Because accountability can quietly become unclear. If AI recommends reallocating budget away from a struggling division… Who owns that decision? If AI flags the wrong cybersecurity threat—or misses the real one… Who is accountable for the outcome? This is exactly why I’ll be speaking at the Arizona SHRM Conference in June alongside a leading employment law attorney on: “AI Is Already Making Decisions: Legal Risk, Leadership Accountability, and the Future of Work.” AI should accelerate human judgment. Not replace it. That’s why at Lintu Solutions we focus on practical AI adoption with governance, accountability, and humans firmly in control.

"What other ideas do you have?" That was the question posed by Kimberly C. earlier this week at the Arizona Technology Council's Smart City and Digital Transformation Conference. She gave a talk around being an Evolutionary Leader in today's climate with AI replacing jobs. A lot of companies jump straight to layoffs when AI enters the picture. Cut costs. Improve margins. Move on. But there’s a different way to look at it. Instead of letting that human brainpower walk out the door, what if you leaned into it? What if you asked your team: “What other ideas do you have?” Where else can they contribute? What can they learn next? How can they help shape what’s coming? That’s not managing to a bottom line. That’s leading people through change. An evolutionary leader adapts with the times and brings their people with them. I'm curious, how are you approaching leadership within your teams as AI starts to reshape the work?
