Drupal's robust access control system allows you to manage content creation, editing, and deletion permissions for specific roles. But what if you need to control access to individual fields within content types? Enter the Field Permissions module. This powerful tool enables granular control over field-level access, perfect for scenarios where you want to: 1️⃣ Restrict editing of specific fields to certain roles 2️⃣ Limit viewing of premium content fields to specific user groups Implementation is straightforward: 1️⃣ Download and install the Field Permissions module 2️⃣ Edit a field in your content type (or any fieldable entity) 3️⃣ Look for "Field visibility and permissions" 4️⃣ Choose from three options: ➜➜ Not set: Module doesn't control access ➜➜ Private: Only author and admins can edit/view ➜➜ Custom permissions: Specify detailed access controls For a comprehensive overview of field permissions, navigate to Reports > Field list > Permissions. This report helps identify and troubleshoot permission-related issues. We already know that recency, context optimization, and listicles can boost your AI visibility. But... What else can your writers do to show up in ChatGPT Search and AI Overviews? Plenty. Here's a quick video with 10 tactical writing tips to help generative engines understand, surface, and cite your content more often -- while also making it more useful to real readers. A few favorites: • Start with context, not long intros • Use literal language (models can miss nuance, sarcasm, irony, etc.) • Add examples • Anticipate natural-language questions Watch the video to get all 10, and see how you can apply them to your new and existing content.

Loved Laura Cushing's take on a frictionless user experience. A solid customer service experience creates brand loyalty, which creates more engagement and increased LTV: “Whether it’s a push notification that you get on your phone or whether it’s the print magazine, it’s that ecosystem that customers care about and it can take one bad experience, one paper cut, one friction point for them to not come back to that content.” And the Hearst and The New York Times teams chimed in on the popular topic of engagement. And, in this case, engagement > scale. How can brands take their current subscribers/members and build off of their existing engagement? What products/services/new formats can add additional value and entice your existing members to pay more? If your team isn't actively thinking about engagement and the customer experience (and joining acquisition and retention teams at the hip), it should be!
